This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Difference Between...

What do you think is the difference in value between Metcalf and Trey McBride?

12T SF, WR 1.25, TE 1.5

With a .25 premium, nothing or very, very little due to positional scarcity. I could see that deal either way if a team needed TE help or had TE depth and wanted to add a WR.

Offered 2.13 (there's an extra pick in our 2nd rd) and Minshew (he has AOC) on top of DK. Rejected

He countered:
McBride, Z Wilson
For
1.12, 25 1st (Late)

I'm not moving 2x 1sts for a TE. Shoot for a cheaper option.

Yeah, that's a tough move although overall value is probably right in the same area that Bowers would be taken. I've tried to get the 1.06 or 7 with neither budging. I've got Engram and won the championship last yr so I'm not without.

Would you counter with 1.12, 2.13, 25 2nd?

I would personally just roll with Engram. If anything, he's set for more targets with Ridley out of the fold.

We use flexible lineups so I could play both.

I offered him 1.12, 2.13, 25 2nd
For
McBride, Z Elliott

He declined that as well. We're probably a stand still for now.

Not entirely sure how to value the .25 TEP. I play in a 0.5 TEP and in that I would have accepted the offer he sent (1.12/2025 1st) but maybe that is a little too pricey in this format. If McBride is a viable flex option, then that price seems fair. He would be in 0.5 TEP. This tends to be what folks miss about TEP because they're used to avoiding TE in the flex at nearly all costs.

I guess for me I don’t see the .25 as a marketable bump, but may be ignorance since never played this format. Two first seems high for me.

keeping mcbride here personally. id need dk and a late first to swap. maybe id throw back a 2nd or 3rd but mcbride is worth more to me. positional scarcity, volume at a position that doesnt see it, youth, etc.

dk had 2 weeks last year where he was a top 12 wr. mcbride was a top 12 TE 8 times by comparison and didnt get a role till week 6ish

1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2

Scoring in this league is a little goofy. .25PPC and 1PPR for RBs as well. I tend not to think of there being any premium. For example, if Metcalf ends the season with 200 more yards than McBride, the TE would need 80 more receptions to equal that so in a sense WRs may be more valuable.
