Lockett was very good in college. He’s maybe a little more stiff now than he was coming into the league (still not stiff imo)…but anyone being comped to Lockett’s college profile…that’s high praise.
Definitely, always been a big fan of Lockett's game.

Wilson's college production is definitely lacking compared to Lockett's.. but it's hard to say how different it would look if he weren't playing in Harbaugh's scheme and was up against the similarly bereft defensive talent Lockett enjoyed at KSU.
Fair I suppose.
When you go down in competition, dominance is expected. Without utter dominance, low level competition is a huge red flag…but if they’re dominating, well maybe there’s something there. Kupp, for instance, was utterly dominant.
Lockett’s competition wasn’t so poor though. It’s not like K-State plays nobody colleges. It’s not quite like playing in Alabama, but K-State is a decent level program.
The big 12 has notoriously not played defense. So much so that most data models have adjusted their algorithms to specifically downgrade them from the power 5 conference in terms of strength of schedule.

Some quality programs there for sure but it's almost universally on the offensive side of the ball.
