I don't like it. Seems light. This guy has a TON of picks, and this year's he's at 1.05.
What would it take to move off of Cousins?
I think he's going to be HUGE in ATL. Has 3+ years left IMO.

If you think he will be that good for 3 years, your best bet is to hold him. Highly unlikely IMO anyone will trade 1.05 for him, but worth a shot if you feel like it.

Tell him you're willing to take 2025 picks but that you feel 1 isn't enough if you're waiting another year to get anything in return. Ask for 2 2025 1sts and see what he comes back with. I don't think the offer will be accepted straight away, but its a good way to find out what he's willing to add to his original offer.

It is. I think Cousins has three more pretty elite years left in him. I don't have two starting QBs. I may get one in the draft but maybe not. Yeah, on no planet is Cousins worth 1.05. But agree a 2025 late 1st doesn't seem like enough. Probably would have went for a 2024 2nd and future 1st. Too late now. I'd still shop him to other contenders.

Yeah, tried a few counters, but when he can get Mayfield (so much younger) for only a 3rd round pick more, I don't blame him. I think a team going all-in could move the 1.05.
