Looking for a TE

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Looking for a TE

Postby Activated2Win » Mon Mar 18, 2024 7:46 pm

Signature A.. I feel like I have a decent roster and got pretty lucky with FA and how that fell just waiting on the draft.. I want to upgrade my TE position and possibly get a top 3-5 TE..

Wanted to use Hollywood Brown news and Schultz to target a top end TE..

1. Who could this buy (McBride?)
2. I thought of moving Higgins
3. Should I stay put?

Just looking for guidance on what to do after the draft or even before. I do not have picks for the 2024 rookie draft.

Thanks everyone

I don’t think Hollywood and Schultz will get you a top 5. McBride seems like buying high right now. Andrews and Hockenson might be better values. I like Mayer from the young crop

I’m not opposed to moving Higgins if you can get a pick coming back. But with the format 3 WR, 2 Flex and no TE premium, loading up on WRs and just sort of streaming TE might be the best plan
12 Team Superflex Best Ball PPR TEP +1.5
QB: Lawrence, Kyler Murray, O’Connell
RB: Gibbs, Etienne, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown
WR: London, Tank Dell, Pickens JSN, Michael Wilson, Quentin Johnston
TE: McBride, Dulcich

This is smart thinking considering the format. TE is an opportunity that you should always look out for but don’t over reach just for reaching.

I'd try Higgins for McBride or Hock. You have the WR depth to do so and I've always felt Higgins was a little overrated as more name than production.

Engram has been underrated, was TE5 in 2022 and TE2 in 2023 with over 110 receptions. TLaw likes him and Gabe Davis won’t take all of Ridley’s targets.

Kick the tires on him.
