London v Odunze v Nabers

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

London v Odunze v Nabers

Postby JamboMac » Sun Mar 17, 2024 5:27 am

Which guy would you prefer in a rebuild? I know it's early and landing spot matters, but assuming they all land in a good spot, which one are you taking?

London I feel is now in a run heavy team, and Pitts I think could be the one to benefit the most from the Cousins trade.

I assume Nabers would be off the board by the time I come to pick - although there is a guy very TE needy and it's TEP premium, so a chance Bowers goes before Nabers and Odunze. The trade in question involves other pieces too, but what it comes down to is these 3 (possibly 2) guys.
12 team - 1QB, PPR
QB- Mahomes, Geno, Dobbs
RB- Ekeler, Taylor, Z.White, B.Robinson, Mattison, Stevenson, Zeke
WR- Allen, Jefferson, Tyreek, AJ Brown, M.Thomas, Atwell
TE- McBride, Waller, J.Smith

12 team - SF, PPR, 0.25PPC, 1.5 TEP
QB - Allen, Lawrence, Jackson
RB - JT, Etienne, Hall, K.Williams, Gibbs, Dobbins
WR - Lamb, St Brown, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, JSN, Meyers
TE - Pitts, Engram, Freiermuth, Otton,

I don’t understand the London analysis, if that’s your feeling that’s fine but London is a better receiver the pitts so I’m not sure what it’s based on. Cousins can also support both.

Anyways I don’t mind going Nabers over London he’s a better prospect coming out, I’d have them close at this point, both slightly over odunze who I still like quite a bit!

I have been made an offer which gives me the 1.07 and he gets London. There are other guys involved, but that isn't important. What it comes down to is whether you'd rather have London, Odunze or Nabers.

And yes, I agree he is a better receiver than Pitts, but in a TEP league, Pitts is the one that will benefit the most from Cousins being there. On top of the move towards a run heavy scheme. Cousins can support both, but I feel it'll be a boom/bust kinda situation.

Nabers. Also Atlanta will be a top half passing team this year. Book it.

My guess is the value is on the rookies. I'm thinking in most situations folks aren't trading either Nabers or Odunze straight up for London.

Oh I don't doubt that, a high octane offense is on the cards, I believe and several guys will feast. I just think it may end up being similar to the 9ers offense, where it's tough to tell which player will have the good game.

The full offer is >

London
Johnston
M.Wilson
Ojulari

For

2024 1.07
2025 1st (mid)
2025 2nd (mid)
Bo Melton (meh)

I feel like I will take the pick side as it gives me control of the 1.06 and 1.07, and I already have the 1.01 and 1.12, as well as a bunch of 2nd and 3rd round picks. I desperately need QBs as my only guy at the minute is Bones, but I'm in no rush to compete either. I will most likely have a top 2 pick next season too.

If I'm ranking these three...

Nabers

Odunze/London

If Odunze gets a nice landing spot, I'll take him over London. If it's questionable, I'll take London. They are close though. Nabers is easily ahead of both for me.

If you are guaranteed one of those two WRs, great. 1.07 doesn't do that. 3QBs and 3WRs could easily be pick 1-6. I prefer London to Bowers by a solid margin.

I think McCarthy is the play at 1.7 before Bowers unless TEP. JJ looks like he’s going in the top 5 of NFL draft.

Rather have either rookie than London, whom I've traded away twice.

thats a terrible deal imo. looks like 2 firsts for london and a 2nd for qj/m wilson. thats too steep for london for me. 1.07 vs london is a fine debate 1.07+mid 25 first vs london is pretty off to me
