Stroud Trade - hear me out (then advice).

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Stroud Trade - hear me out (then advice).

Postby Nflnz » Sat Mar 16, 2024 11:13 am

For the team below I am thinking of moving Stroud.

12 Team SF Start 10 4pt passing TD TE Prem

QB: Stroud, Kyler, Love, Cousins, Hooker
RB: White, Roschon, Warren, Herbert, Gainwell
WR: Nico, Metcalf, Dotson, Cooks, M Williams, Mingo, Rondale, Iosivas, Palmer
TE: Freirmuth, Schultz, Kmet

2024 1.09, 2.09, 3.09
2025 1stx5, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
2026 1stx2, 2ndx2

As you can see I have a lot of picks in 2025 and building in 2026. Is his league is 4pt passing TD so QBs that run have move value, an important one for CJ. I also have Love, Kyler & Cousins.

I am thinking of making this trade

Give: CJ
Get: 1.06 (likely Rome or Bowers), 2.08, 2025 1st (likely mid), 2026 1st (likely early - team sucks).

I know this is an underpay but it the best offer I’ve had for Stroud & I want to keep moving this team forward.

So much can happen in a season, I feel nervous projecting position for 1sts one year out let alone two, who knows what the roster looks like for the 2026 1st, hold tight

I totally agree.

Stroud is an elite FF asset that is valuable to both rebuilders and contenders. Any deal has to include a stud coming back - not just picks. Maybe I'd do a picks only deal if the 1.01 was in the mix. But not the 1.06.
