Najee + 2.09 or 1.08

1QB. I was offered the 1.08 for Najee and the 2.09. I am a strong contender but pretty thin at RB in a 14 team league that is very difficult to acquire any kind of RB production. Looks like a good deal on paper but I’m worried about my ability to add an RB later. Should probably cash on the value and worry about that later though? I ask them to add a 3rd on their side and they are firm at this price.

Based on it being a 14 team 1 QB league and the fact that you're contending and are short on RB depth, I'd be keeping Najee. This is probably the best offer you'll ever get for him, but I'm not letting good value get in the way of winning a championship.

Yeah I agree here. you aren't getting someone better at 1.08 and then also giving up your 2nd round pick. I think you gotta hold unfortunately. stick it out one more year until the 2025 RB crop which will be better most certainly

Thanks for the responses. That’s pretty much how I’m feeling. With that said, the way the picks fall will likely lead to Trey Benson being there at the 1.08. If he lands in the right spot like Dallas I could see taking him over Najee. That’s too much guess work right now to change the value of the pick though.

If Trey Benson lands in Dallas with minimal competition for touches, he's almost certainly not going to be on the board at 1.08 in a 1QB league.

Look at RB like shark teeth. One falls out and another takes it's place. it is far more common that a no name RB suddenly becomes relevant

Typically yes but I have the 1.04 and 1.07. I’ve already spoken to the 1.05 and 1.06 owners about other trades and learned that they are without a doubt taking either Bowers or the top WR option depending on who is left. Both teams are well stocked at RB and suffering elsewhere. It’s definitely possible that it changes but seems pretty unlikely.

I honestly thought the masses would be screaming 1.08 at me. Seems like any post I see about Najee is sell for anything of value. Maybe with Russ and a new OC that offense will look better but I’ve only really seen sell Najee up until now.

1QB, deep league, needs at RB. It's not that everyone doesn't like 1.08, it's just we don't know that you'll land either Benson or Brooks at 8 and you would need to give up a 2nd for a chance at swapping Najee for one of them. Obviously it'll also depend on landing spots.

I definitely agree. And RB production really is so difficult to get in this particular league. They’re hoarded. Maybe things will change at the draft. If I could send Najee and my 2nd for a Cowboy Benson then that may actually be a good move. Like I said, I have 1.04 and 1.07 and would be adding 1.08. The 1.05 and 1.06 teams have almost zero interest in an RB so I would have either Benson or Brooks or possibly both available at 1.07 and 1.08. Probably not a move I can make until after the NFL draft either way.
