Longest Superbowl in history too, both as a presentation and in terms of game clock played. Shanny truly took them all the way to their limit.

He's gonna get raked for losing another Superbowl, but ultimately, losing three Superbowls to Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes is nothing to be ashamed of. (It's going to sting for the rest of his life, though)
At least you're at the big dance. My Bears...what, that smoke and mirrors game with Rex Grossman at QB? The highlight was Hester running back the kickoff for a TD. Downhill from there. LOL. That was 2007. Previous to that was 1985. Ouch. JFC.

Was reading an article this morning about multiple Chiefs fans needing amputations of fingers or toes after the frigid playoff game they played against the Dolphins. Doctors say more could be forthcoming depending on how these people recover.

Wonder if that might get the NFL thinking about playing when it's a bit too cold outside?

I mean, not the NFL's fault folks showed up in tank tops or shirtless or whatever for a game in freezing temperatures. Feel like if I knew I was going to sit outside in those temperatures for 3 to 4 hours I'd wear a few layers and it'd all be fine...

I’m a Minnesotan. When it is that cold you bundle up in about 5 layers with a thick winter jacket and snow pants, along with thinsulate winter boots and thick winter gloves/mittens. Then you add hand and foot warmers, if necessary. If you did that… even before adding any alcohol… you would have been fine.

My guess is these people were not prepared. People do this in GB all the time and you don’t hear about it… they come prepared.

That’s not the NFLs fault.

I'm all for playing games outside, in the elements, even in the a Winter

But playing a night game in a cold city in sub zero weather is beyond ridiculous. Specially when you consider the NFL only did it because Paramount bought a playoff game and the NFL wanted to give the online streaming good ratings.

a business decision that negatively impacted a very limited number of their total audience. not very surprising.

Yeah, this right here. The big machine doesn't care.

But for sure, most of the NFL will be in domes by 2050 you've gotta think.

Except Buffalo. Never Buffalo.
