I think he could hit 4 or 5 depending on how they build this team the next few years. However, the AFC has become a bloodbath and is littered with franchise QB. At least he plays in the AFC West, so playoff appearances will come easily.

Very true, but KC is as close to the next Dynasty as the NFL has at the moment, but the cracks in the foundation are starting to show. What really makes a true Dynasty, is how they seal them up

Likely his best season per game. 17 now, but Tyreek, and Kelce is their prime. NFL wasn't ready for it. Mahomes floor is super high, but doubtful he's ever going to get the equivalent of those 2 again, and what they did to make that offense so potent. Andy is getting up there, too. Post Reid, it will be interesting to see who the Chiefs employ.

Just like Brady played in the AFC East when most years the competition was all non-playoff caliber teams. Part of winning multiple superbowls is getting into the playoffs regularly. Brady had a constant on-ramp to the AFC East title, just as Mahomes looks set up to be able to help KC win repeat AFC West titles. Should be funner to watch Mahomes repeatedly march into the playoff than it was for me to suffer through Brady getting in every year.

Fluctuations in roster talent will happen. They happened in NE also. Then NE signs Moss and *poof* instant quality receiver. Then NE signs Corey Dillon and *poof* instant all-star caliber RB. Then NE drafts Gronk and *poof* TE is solved again. It's easy for a smart GM to fill out rosters when the team has a T3QB making everyone else better.

I'm sure KC will fill in the cracks very well. Quality organizations don't waste all-time great QB talent.

This kind of evaluation is wild.

If you're trying to win you'd much rather have 3 stud players than a top 5 QB in any given season. There's no world you're also gettin 3 early 1sts on top of that for a QB.

QBs have quietly become the most overrated assets in Dynasty because a lot of their value comes from projecting out 5-10 years which is just not a winning mindset.
