That throw by Love to Melton was incredible. They may not count it, but still a great throw.

Bears twitter will still call him a mid QB and believe Justin Fields just need a WR core of DJ Moore, MHJ and Malik Nabers to be unlocked.

Dennis Allen told his players not to do it, and to take the knee.

Jameis went rogue and audibled and the players ran it anyway.

Love deserves to be in the MVP conversation. Responsible for over 80 percent of the teams TD's, he's been arguably the best QB in the league the back half of the year.

Took the youngest team EVER into the playoffs. Didn't even have a top 20 D going into the day, let alone top 10, or top 5.

Played a near perfect game. His only incompletion on 3rd down today was that drop by Melton in the end zone, threw 2 TD's on third down.

I definitely think Lamar deserves to be in the conversation, but other than Lamar, I can't think of a QB that should be ahead of him on the ballot right now.

I think the mid-season lull should keep him out of that conversation but I agree, how well he's played in the 2nd half of the season is being under reported.

I don't think any QB has been good all year. Dak has played really well too. Love is 2nd, I think in TD passes in the league, next to him. What other QB's deserve to be on it over him? Hurts, Allen, Mahomes? None of those guys have had as good a run as Love has the 2nd half of the year, and all had some lull's too.

On the lighter side.

Cards with some "interesting decisions" and play calls at the end. Lose yards, miss the FG. Locks them into 1.04. Curious to see if MHJ lasts that long. He's probably get stuck in New England.

I think it's hilarious people think Winston is great for doing this. This will not help his cause for FA. How many GM's want a backup QB that defies their coach and goes rogue on something like this?

Guy has always been an idiot.

I mean, I love it because of the fact it was Arthur, a suiting (hopefully) end for him, but Winston is doing himself no favours.

In that spirit, a throwback.

Lamar will take MVP.

Purdy or Prescott should be 2nd and the other should be 3rd. I could see Prescott finishing 2nd, just because the 49ers implosion against Baltimore is still pretty fresh.

After that, you could go with whoever wins the AFC East tonight (Allen or Hill/Tua) at 4, C.J. Stroud (7-win turnaround, division title as a rookie), a few shoutouts to Hill and CMC, and then that's really it.

Josh Allen has no business being in the MVP conversation.

A QB of a team who won 9 games has even less business being in the conversation.

Buffalo was 5-5. They're 10-6 now with a shot to win the division and Josh Allen has 42 total touchdowns.

Love is better than Allen in every conceivable way over the back half, that you are talking about. Not even close who's been better over the last 6 games. Wins? That's your argument? I mean, OK. I don't thinks it's a viable argument, the guy is a turnover machine, and was a big reason they were 5-5, instead of 7-3 or 8-2. He really hasn't been better than Love, and Love has worked with less. I don't think that should be a hot take, people get attached to name brand players. Allen hasn't been all that good this year.

Is this "The MVP of the top team" award?

Jordan Love just took the youngest team in the NFL to the playoffs with a bottom 3rd defense (being generous here), 0 pro bowlers; Other teams with no pro bowlers -- WSH, NE, CAR... without a single 1,000 yard receiver or rusher.

I dont think he should win it but he should definitely be in the conversation.

That's all I'm saying.

If he takes his 2nd half into next year and plays like this most of next year, he'll win it then. Hurts, Mahomes, Allen, the top end guys, really don't deserve much conversation in it, this year.

Love has played really well, but Green Bay is still 9-8. Being in the MVP conversation is a higher bar than finishing a game over .500 for a team that didn't win their division.

Josh Allen has over 4400 total yards and 42 total touchdowns and may have an 11 win team and division champion attached to it.
