Bryce Young or 1.11

I’ve just been offered the 2024 1.11 for Bryce Young (SF League) - this is still a hold right?

While he was AWFUL this year, no way I'd move him for that late a 1st in a SF league. Let's see if the Panthers can improve his line and receivers before we make the final call on his long term value.

Easy pass in SF. Young was awful this year but this is borderline just giving him away. Lawrence had an awful rookie year too in a terrible situation. I am not saying Young is Lawrence but Young was also in a terrible situation. Easy pass and hope for a better second year.

1.11 for me, in some years, but with the lack of RB depth, I'd likely hold. I don't think Bryce is good though. I think he's a bust.

Darn. I thought BY might be a buy low this off-season. This thread shows me I'm wrong. Good for the DLF crowd for not being impatient in this case. Too much draft capital to sell yet - he will get plenty of chances (and maybe even get two coaches fired) before he's declared a bust.

there will be much better days for Young, he had a terrible coach and no players, he will improve with the right handling, look at TL for example. I wouldnt write off just yet.

I would probably sell. Wide range of outcomes, but looks the likelihood of a bust is fairly high from what I saw

1.11..thx and bye bye. Not a BY fan and there seem to be quite a few good WR. There are always RBs and TE and with QB's going early, you should be able to get something better than Young. That being said, you should try to get an extra pick since BY was last years 1.01 in the NFL.

I'd love to see statistics on rookie QBs who end their first season with stats similar to Bryce. How many become studs; how many become multi-year starters with blah stats; how many continue to struggle and never lift off? I'm not saying Bryce cannot turn it around, but the odds are fairly low right now. After his year one season, I'd guess the odds Young becomes a SF differencemaker are less than 20%

1.11 is a tricky place in SF. I understand maybe putting a value on BY slight higher and wanting to continue to hope, but it might be helpful to a fantasy team's future to back up the decision to hold (over the 1.11) with something more than hope. Especially if a slightly better pick is available or/and a decent + could be added.

id want a better pick than 1.11 but im fine moving him, he looked like total a$$. i was beyond sky high on him heading into the year and now im not very interested and dont see a ton of reason for hope
