Super flex trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Package is solid but you ain’t competing with Pickett and Geno as your Qbs.. Id hold Burrow but I asked a similar question and wondering if I’m over valuing Burrow

It's closer in a 10 teamer. I guess if you prefer Williams or Harrison Jr. to Burrow, but it's a gamble. Barkley is solid right now but his value will not hold in the coming years like all aging RBs.

I'm confused, how is that team contending? The WRs are terrible. And Pickett is something worse than terrible.

he said he's trying to win but didnt say how many games. :)

If i read his league format for team 2 does it really say 1QB and then 2 SF spots? This would mean starting 3 QBs possibly?

Assuming this is truly a league where a team can start 3 QBs, I can't get behind this trade unless you're 100% confident CW is going to be a T10QB for fantasy.

I don't see this trade making you a serious contender for 2023. Against a contender possibly starting 3 very good QBs, you'd be starting Geno and Pickett. And even in this format, you might be better off starting a non-QB over Pickett. Even if DHop plays like he did five years ago, I don't think you have enough talent to make a serious run.

And if you don't win it all this year, you're looking at a QB room with an unproven rookie, Geno, and Picket who may not have a starting role in the NFL at that time - and should have a starting role in a 10tm league regardless of that. If you made a variation of the trade and got the picks, I'd recommend trading Jacobs and Pollard for more 2024 draft capital. That way you get to reload in a big way at one time.

I'm not against trading Burrow and using that offer as a starting point. But I don't like the two players coming back to you. The 1.01+2.01 are fine, but you need other pluses to better help your team for 2024 and beyond. I don't think it's a good idea to focus on winning in 2023 with that roster.

I know it’s against popular opinion but I like this trade a lot tbh, I get some decent stuff for now and can reload up in the draft.

Capital will gain value and i can always get a QB if need be. Always someone who would want that pick a lot

And its Burrows 2nd season ending injury

I don't see this as a competing team so my inclination would be to take the trade and then turn around and move DHop, Sutton, McLaurin, Pitts, and Dillon to continue accumulating younger talent and draft picks. Maybe Barkley, but I trust him and Jacobs over the next 2-3 years more than Pollard. Sell him too if you can get anything for him.

Your team is pretty bad and shouldn't be playing for this year but what's being offered isn't terrible value if you're trying to move on from KEVIN!!! from Home Alone. That said, you should ask for assets other than Saquon and D-Hop that would help for your future!

I know you are out Burrow for the year but I don’t see how two aging pieces can help you at all for the state of your team, unless you can flip them to a contender and even then I don’t see that much value coming back!

Strong hold!
