Re: Top 10 NFL WRs under 25 years old?
Well in my PPR league, here are the top 10 scoring WR's this year that are 25 and younger:
1. Mike Wallace (183.10)
2. Victor Cruz (154.30)
3. Hakeem Nicks (135.50)
4. AJ Green (141.80)
5. Dez Bryant (135.40)
6. Jeremy Maclin (129.30)
7. Torrey Smith (124.90)
8, Stevie Johnson (124.70)
9. Eric Decker (120.30)
10. Percy Harvin (119.00)
So do with that what you will. Most of those guys are already considered studs/potential studs. But from my observations, no one is really giving Victor Cruz much credit anywhere, thinking he's succeeded only because Mario Manningham has been hurt. But I think Manningham just isn't going to be a big guy to have. Steve Smith I think proved that having the slot guy in NYG is much better than the guy opposite Hakeem Nicks. Torrey Smith and Eric Decker are both guys that can also probably be had for decently cheap compared to guys like Percy Harvin and Stevie Johnson. Don't know if thats what you wanted, but take it for what its worth.

I personally will not be putting any WR's that are still in college on my list, but here's my top 10 under 25:
Mike Wallace
Hakeem Nicks
AJ Green
Dez Bryant
Jeremy Maclin
Kenny Britt (only this low bc of knee injury)
Stevie Johnson
Mike Williams TB
Antonio Brown (not getting any love apparently? Fire Up Chips!)
Victor Cruz
I don't have Jon Baldwin in any leagues, but I wish I did. He is a freak & is one of my top guys that didn't make the list.

Re: Top 10 NFL WRs under 25 years old?
1. Hakeem Nicks ( he broke out last year, only thing holding him back is injury bug )
2. AJ Green ( love skill set.. curious how he develops with more on his plate next yr )
3. Mike Wallace ( seems like he is limited if he can't go deep )
4. Jeremy Maclin ( runs great routes )
5. Eric Decker ( his numbers are still solid with Tebow )
6. Julio Jones ( heart , physical gifts, great work ethic , does he have the smarts to become elite )
7. Victor Cruz ( love this guy anytime you get your shot & run with it awesome )
8. Dez Bryant ( mental midget )
9. Kenny Britt ( again...mental midget )
10. Stevie Johnson ( personally can't get over that drop vs Steelers 2010 to win game, unclutch )
Going to jump on a soap box a minute... I am so sick and tired of people acting like physical talent is the absolute when evaluating WR ability. I will argue outside of qb , a wr mental ability far out weigh physical gifts. Greatness comes thru consistency. Mentally superior WR will consistently perform better than physically gifted mental midgets.

Re: Top 10 NFL WRs under 25 years old?
Receiving Maclin and Gronk for Dez?? Great trade. I view Maclin's value as essentially equal to Dez, and getting (arguably)the top young tight end in football is just a sweet, sweet bonus.joeday wrote:Lots of Maclin love...helping me regret my decision to trade Dez for Maclin and Gronk even less! lol

Wow! Amazing trade. I don't think Dez Bryant's mother believes the difference between him and Maclin is a top-5 TE!
