Josh Downs trade

So in team 3 in signature, superflex, 12 team, 26 man roster (no defense or kicker), PPR

was offered 2025 late first and late 3rd (team is arguably top two in league by large margin)

give Josh Downs

Have I been drinking too much reception perception kool-aid? Am I overthinking by NOT smash accepting? My team is a one to two year rebuild FWIW. Thanks

Said this is in the Downs thread - I have him now as WR5 for the '23 class (Addison/Puka/JSN/Flowers/Downs). In 1QB, I'm passing on a 2025 1st/3rd because he should have been a 1st in '23. In SF, I'm taking it. His ceiling is probably capped as a WR2/3. That's valuable for sure. However in SF the late 1st/3rd are more so. I could argue either side however.

Im taking late 1st in SF, Downs looks good but likely never a WR1.

Value is probably with the 1st long term in SF, but push for a 2nd on top with how hot he is right now.

The 1st and 3rd was probably a little light. 1st + 2nd is about right.
