Rozeboom, Jewell, Landman

Sold Rozeboom for a 3rd last night, which I think was a nice return.

Did make me wonder if I should send offers and see what I can get for Jewell and Landman.
What's the feeling on Jewell and Landman? I don't think I sold low on Rozeboom, even in a high scoring IDP league that starts 11 defenders (up to 5 LBs)

One route I'm considering is offering Landman for Mosely to a team having a fire sale and looking for "1st and 2nd year players or picks."

I sold Mosely to owner for Mike Evans at start of season and now wonder if I can/should offer Landman straight up in a swap.

Thoughts appreciated.

that's because you actually robbed the guy: a third for a mediocre LB is an absolute steal in any league.

jewell is good but i'd send him packing for a 3rd, probably even a 4th (depends on waivers, but likely yeah).

a special teamer for mosley is also a great bit of business, age is so overvalued in IDP.

He took the offer so fast (argues with me about good offers) I thought "damn, did I just F this up?" Good to hear I was right, threw out offers just for the hell of it and almost dropped him right after I sent offers.

Jewell - for dynasty purposes, do we think that rookie Sanders is going to take over for Singleton or Jewell next year?

I see that Singleton has two years left on his contract, with a potential out after 2024, but Jewell will be an UFA after this year. The Donkeys are going to need to see what Sanders has to offer soon so they can decide if they let Jewell walk. (My two cents...) If so, which LB's snap counts get cut when they decide to put Sanders in?

This cannot be emphasized enough - IDP should always be played like it’s redraft, for 95% of the players. With elite DLs: Hutch, N Bosa, Quinnen, Crosby, big Jeff, etc yes, age is a big factor in making certain players incredibly valuable. But with linebackers and especially with DBs, the guy who is 24 is very rarely worth much more to me than a productive guy who’s 32

100% agree...but don't preach this too hard. I get good trades every year in every league from owners that value youth more than production.

In relation to the previous comments, let's say you're in a rebuild. Would you ever trade these older productive guys for younger prospects? Or would you strictly sell for picks ?

I get it's probably not that black and white but just in general. Thanks.

I’d be open to it, but ifI’d much prefer the picks.

For instance, if I’m selling Bobby Wagner I’d be looking to get Jack Campbell not Daiyon Henley.

Great trade. You snap that every time.

Jewell value is very depressed. If you can’t get a 3, I’d honestly just hold. He will have use next year. His per game production has historically been pretty good. Don’t be too anxious to just ‘get out’ IMO.

I sold Landman for Milano in a league. Landman might be a guy, but I felt Milano is safer for 2024, at least for value growth. Not sure how Landman’s outlook is viewed, aside from being a young guy who got an injury opportunity.

i'd put my fiver on sanders being groomed to replace jewell. if he does well it'll be his role going forward. singleton is a thumper, but plays his role well enough. if jewell stays healthy he'll find a starting gig somewhere and get a high snap %, he is a good LB.

yeah picks. any pick for an old LB, really.
