12 team 2QB PPR
I have a team that is 3rd in points scored, but is currently in 5th place because I have most points against. I think I could probably make playoffs if I picked up some help, particularly at RB. My schedule looks to be lightening up over the next 3-4 weeks too.
Swift just hit the block. The team looks like a rebuilder. I shot over a quick offer of 24 1st (not mine, should be late) for Swift and his 3rd (should be early). He countered with Swift for the late 1st straight up. It’s a minor concession to give, but doubts are gnawing at me. Is Swift worth a 1st? Like I said, the team who’s first it is looks to be playoff bound (4th place currently), but ya never know.
Edit: as a side note, I would still have my own 1st as well as 2 x 2nds that I could use as a ammo to make more moves, if needed as the season progresses.

Re: Swift vs 1st
As a contender, I would gamble on Swift for the price. Swifts health is always a concern and he is ify long term but if you think he gives you an advantage for a title push, it's not a bad price overall. Swift looks like a safe floor RB with his new team...that is not easy to come by in a win now scenario.

Roster would help, but a late first is reasonable

Re: Swift vs 1st
I would take Swift at the price of a late 1st

Re: Swift vs 1st
I was in basically the same situation and made basically the same trade. So yes, I think it’s fair value if you are contending and need a RB. With the way Philly’s O line has been dominating in the run game, it if things go right, he could end up being a league winner addition for you.
