After being encouraged to start this thread… let’s do it! What are we looking forward to this week?

"Love" the way this week starts off, with a big divisional match up. I am looking forward to seeing Jordan vs that Lions D, after that tough Saints D last week. Looking forward to seeing Gibbs usage after close to 20 touches, on a short week.

Also wanting to see how T-Law looks after that disaster last week, the Jags have been bad at home through 2 games. This is a huge game for them, with some awful road matchups before their week 9 bye, AT the Bills, AT the Saints, and AT the Steelers. If he doesn't step his game up, those are going to be some bad results, and their season may be at a real bad spot by the mid way point.

Also wanting to see how Dak looks after that big hiccup last week. This is a game he needs to make some plays and win, vs a tough Patriots D, but in the BIG D.

Taylor Swift taking a wayward football to the face or making out with some random dude when they cut to her. It's likely to get as annoying as when Romo was dating Jessica Simpson, and we had to see her in the private box 27 times every game.

I have a feeling that's what's coming.

The only Dolphins skill player I think is going to be consistent is Tyreek. He is overwhemingly Tua's (and McDaniel's) favorite target -- with good reason. Everyone else, even a healthy Waddle, is a great piece liable to have a low usage game. Of course no one is benching Waddle, but I think everyone other player could be reasonably benched if fantasy managers have a good option.

For instance, on the one team I have Achane, I also have JCook, Swift and Kyren. I may bench Achane this wee and go with two of those guys because I think they're all more likely to receive more consistent touches game to game. But that runs the risk of missing the Blow Up games Achane is capable of. Tough decision.

What are we looking forward to this week?

-- Sunday Morning footbal! I'm an early riser and love having football on tv early Sunday morning. Unfortunately I'll be driving when this game is being played, but it'll be nice to have Euro NFL start again. Will Allgeier get his touches? Will Trevor realize he does better when Kirk is heavily involved?

-- Can't wait to see the next episode of the Stroud Rising show.

-- MIA vs BUFF. I have a lot of players on these two teams. I want to see this big AFC East matchup. And I'd like to see Tua outgun Josh.

-- Taylor Swift! It's odd that I want more Swift. I'm a huge music guy (all genres) but I couldn't name one Swift song and I'm generally out on celebrity couplies. But I love how she goes about her business. I thought I would hate the Kelce pursuit of Swift, but now that it's (apparently) happened, I'm all in on this. Besides, doesn't the NFL need someone like her to drive an undertapped market to the NFL?

-- DET vs GB. As long as this isn't a 10-13 game, this should be a great game to watch and for fantasy. I'm all on Love, though I have no shares. I hope Goff continues his underappreciated run of serious fantasy relevance. Will Jones return? Will Dillon continue to be putrid? Gibbs? Sun God! TEs! This could be the fantasy game of the week.

DEN vs CHI. Two dumpers carts on fire, slow rolling across an empty parking lot, about to collide. I love it!

You guys are missing the main benefit here. As long as this Swift drama is happening it means we won't hear another word about Brittany or Jackson Mahomes! I'd gladly make that trade if I never have to listen to Brittany talk ever again!
