Trading for TLaw...

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading for TLaw...

Postby dubomac » Sun Sep 24, 2023 9:47 pm

TLaw owner also has Josh Allen, they look like they are going to end up with the 1.01 and are looking to move TLaw as they are eyeing Caleb.

They are asking that Watson and Puka be apart of a deal. Should adding 2 '24 2nds be enough to get it done...? Thoughts?

Strange thing for the other owner to be doing. T.Law is a great asset to build around and selling the 1.01 in SF will bring a haul. I'd be patient and wait to make the move next off-season. But that's just me.

I'd for sure give Watson, Puka, 2 2nds for T.Law. It will be enough if the other owner is enamored with Puka and it's certainly a more than reasonable opening offer.

Side note: congrats on Stroud. Seems like he's the real deal.

I'd be nervous right now about dealing for TLaw. I don't know if he's just having a bad start to the season or he just not that good. Watson finally had a good day for Cleveland yesterday, but it was against Tenn. I still think that he is worth the gamble here compared to Watson, but I'd just offer up Puka and Watson and see what he counters with.

If adding 2 2nds to Watson and Nacua gets you Lawrence I think that’s a great deal for you!

I still like Lawrence much more than Watson and I think this is a good price to land him. He is starting slow but his WR's are not doing him any favors right now so I think his stats are a bit misleading and will get better. Lawrence has things to clean up and get better at but I still think he is a great long term piece in SF.

TLaw owner has countered and is asking for Diontae instead of 1 of the 2nds. I am leaning the late 2nd being the one in the deal. Thoughts?

Although I think Watson's value rises over the next year, I would give him any combination of those pieces to get Trevor Lawrence in a super flex league.

I’m pretty aggravated about TLaw and starting to suspect he is not actually good. But that’s still a very cheap price and seems reasonable
