It has been one week. He looked good but Lamar didn't. They will have to diversify some going forward as teams will figure out radar lock pretty fast in this league.

He was pretty exciting to watch.

Hard for me to say Jackson's skillset doesn't match up very well with Zay. Jackson really isn't a downfield threat QB. A dominant slot receiver type (or TE, as we've seen with Andrews) fits this offense very well, with the quick hitting, high percentage completions.

If he did have more of a downfield vertical threat type QB, would you expect Zay to become a deep ball threat? Or just better targets so he could do more with them?

Agreed with this - and I'd add, I think the downfield stuff could still come with Zay. He won all over the field in College - he's an extremely well rounded player.

Him being used as a high-touch gadget guy to start speaks more to the Ravens wanting to get him involved early, and often - to me. If he adds further route-craft and downfield rapport... then yeah, this party could be truly on.

Yup. Big blowouts with a good run game lately. Last 3 games haven't really needed big plays and have relied on the run.

Better days ahead, but this offense is going to spread it around more often than not.
