Regarding the concussion. I was pretty confident that he was concussed on that last play of week 1, I was shocked when they said it was his leg or something. Not surprising that after he hit his head again in week 2 that he seemed to voluntarily pull himself.

Richardson needs to practice ju jitsu and use Tua’s helmet technology

Better to hope he stays out a couple of weeks and does not return until his brain is 100% healthy.

I was (very) skeptical on the prospect and don't get me wrong I wouldn't say he has been a good starting QB by NFL standards

But I was expecting struggles completing passes beyond 5-7 yards and rookie Josh Allen like inaccuracy

It's probably too late to pivot and actually buy Richardson (owner is probably pricing him near his ceiling and I kind of get why) but I'd like anything from this Colts offense I can get: Pittman, Downs, even JT, hell throw a dart at Jelani Woods he's probably close to free and has an exciting athletic profile which at TE can be enough on its own

I think I underrated how much he would run, how good this staff is and the leash he would get. They are letting him throw even if it means he fails and in the long run that'll be much better than whatever Fields has been doing the last 3 years

Will Mallory is another TE with a solid athletic profile on that team, he’s almost certainly available on waivers, he’s not on IR right now and he acquitted himself quite well in his first NFL game action catching his two targets in 19 snaps for 49 yards.

It's been a good balance of attempts at all three levels as well.

18 attempts LOS-5Y
9 attempts 5Y-10Y
10 attempts 10Y+

People were concerned that he wouldn't utilize those short/intermediate throws, but he's been doing it.

That left side of the field looks awfully lonely.

I missed Mallory's 49 yards completely amidst all that happened this week

Have him on a couple taxis and I agree

Out for weeks, potentially more with a shoulder sprain. Dude has to adjust his play style or he won't be long for this league.

He can still run, but he just has to make better business decisions. He's a big player. Teams are going to give him all they can to bring him down. He'll learn how to protect himself better.

He needs to sit down with Cam Newton and learn from Cam's experience. His size gives him a false sense of security.

💯 He has to learn to slide correctly. Diving isn't it. Otherwise it'll be RG3 all over again.
