Best QB—Young or Stroud

Postby wickerkat1212 » Tue Feb 14, 2023 3:30 pm

So I haven't seen this debate yet. I see people on both sides, and a few that even like Levis.

My concern with Young is his size. That's about it.
Stroud seems like a solid pick overall. I lean towards him.

"Based on stats alone, Stroud has the slight edge thanks to his better passer rating and higher amount of touchdowns. On the other hand, Young gets the clear edge in team success thanks to his conference title and playoff win."

Thoughts?
And why?

Lots to play out but I would take Young at this point. His size is a concern but he has all the tools otherwise. I will start doing my draft prep in the coming weeks. We are getting to that time now.

How close are they to each other for you? Is Young the clear #1 QB? Or are they 1A and 1B? I may have the 1.03 pick and trying to decide who to take if for some reason it goes Bijan, Gibbs. Thanks.

Looking for the too soon to say button.

None of these QB's interest me much.
I feel bad for teams that are dying at QB.

I have the feeling that 1, or maybe 2 of these QB's at best will "hit".
However, no idea which one at this point in time.

Unless you want to return to this thread in hindsight and call everyone stupid, it was, is, and probably will be Young. There is nothing else to overthink here at this time.
But what i have seen is that the #2 QB off the board is not clear whatsoever. Stroud, Levis, Richardson, and even Hooker have been mocked as the #2 QB in this draft.
