I like the deal. Chubb is a great back and Hunt is moving on. More targets in the receiving game could open up for Chubb as a result. Chubb is a better rusher than Barkley for me too. Johnson is worth the stash and hope for the price.

I'm fine with the deal but maybe not quite as thrilled about it as others. IMHO: Barkley is the best asset by a good margin. He outscored Chubb in '22 by 1.5 FFG in PPR (because of volume). I hear the Hunt argument but wonder if that volume goes to Chubb or a lesser RB who is either on or added to the roster before Sept. I do like Diontae as a buy "kind of low" since his value dipped during his mid-season slump. He ended the year fairly strong. He's a reliable, if slightly boring, WR3.
The biggest reason I wouldn't do this deal is timing. I have a feeling that Barkley's value is actually on the rise. I think he will be more expensive to acquire (and provide more return) at the cusp of the season. I can see him being in the discussion as a top redraft pick and probably 12-15 picks before Chubb. Redraft matters a lot to me on player value especially with RB. I'd consider waiting until August to move Barkley.

I keep going back and forth on the deal. I don’t think Chubb is a major tier down and DJ should still be considered a top 30 WR.
