I don't see Kamara regaining RB1 status in New Orleans, but I don't think it is out of the questions for him to have one or two more RB1 season if he were on a new team similar to CMC.

Seems fair to me. A 1st is in an insta-sell, which no one is offering. A late 2nd is an easy reject, may as well hold to the end

Gonna be a 28 year old, likely looking at a 6+ game suspension imo coming off a year and a half of nagging injuries and relatively disappointing play. I can't see giving a first or even a guy like tucker, tank, downs at this point. For me that puts him around 2.5 atm

I am not actively looking to buy AK, as I have a strong feeling the Saints will spend some day 2 draft capital on a RB that will start to compete with AK for touches.
Also a 6 game suspension would not shock me either.
Too many variables for me to be looking to acquire AK right now.

That said, I am not a fan of buying RB's in Jan/Feb anyway.....any RB.
I tend to be more of a RB shopper in season.

Yeah it's kinda the cherry on top that makes it really hard to like him this year and after that your betting on a 29 YO rb with a worse run of late

I think he may have some good games left in him but with the suspension, age, and uncertainty of that offense in general I sold him for two 24 2nds and felt pretty good about it.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t get suspended. The video is completely underwhelming and it appears that his posse did the majority of the damage. It also looks like the victim started the physical altercation. It certainly seems that there is this assumption that he’ll be suspended 6 games…and I’m just not convinced. If you were in a bind and needed a RB, Kamara could be a sneaky buy low. His value is just dreadfully low and he’s still incredibly talented with volume. The QB situation and play calling has been atrocious. Sure, it may not get better, but it couldn’t get too much worse. I’d also be interested in seeing what happens with Taysom. He had vultured a lot TDs the past few years

I’d take a 1st for him but not selling him for a second. He is still and elite receiver, which can translate to a longer career. But the play calling has been really bad. I think the Saints would benefit by getting a bellcow RB to share the load with Kamara and allow Kamara to work the edges.

Agree completely. Since Payton left, his bad stats have been more due to misuse as a between the tackles banger and to Taysom vulturing TDs in the red zone. On a more competent offense I think he still has RB1 potential. Would love to see him land in a better spot with play calling to his strengths. Even though I'm trying to move him, it's a terrible time to sell and I'll probably hang on with hopes that his situation improves one way or another. Everyone is worried about the suspension, but the video really isn't as damning as originally thought.

Some movement on the Kamara situation. He and two others have been indicted for the beating in LV. No word I’ve seen on the exact charges or how serious this is looking for him.

I read he was indicted for "conspiracy to commit battery" which according to this article (below) it is a gross misdemeanor. The article state he was also facing a felony charges, but I can't tell if that charge stuck.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara was indicted by a Las Vegas grand jury on Wednesday, Feb. 15, on charges related to an incident during last year's Pro Bowl when Kamara and three others were accused of hitting and kicking a man after he and Kamara got into a dispute outside of a hotel elevator. Kamara was indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm. A court date is set for March 2.

This one's a felony, punishable by up to 15 years in prison depending on whether or not a weapon was used. Not good.
