Updated WR rankings

Postby joeday » Mon Oct 31, 2011 6:36 am

Well its been 8 weeks into the season (with the exception of the chiefs and chargers) and I would like to hear everyone's updated top 10 rankings for WRs (non ppr). Who are the movers and shakers for way too early 2012 rankings?

This was my dynasty preseason top 10:
Calvin
Hakeem
Andre
Fitz
Roddy
Jennings
Wallace
Miles
Tampa Mike
Brandon

I would probably change that to:
Calvin
Hakeem
Andre
Wallace
AJ Green
Jennings
Larry Fitz
Welker
Bowe
Maclin

I just can't put Steve Smith on here, even though he has been just outlandish. There's my $0,02.
Barrow Snowmen- 14 team - 0.5 PPR, IDP - Yr 19
Jacksonville Jaguars - 32 team - Real GM - Yr 13
Barrow Snowmen #2 - 14 team - SF, PPR - Yr 2

1 Calvin Johnson (Love me some Mega)
2 Hakeem Nicks (Have been high on Nicks but the nagging injuries are starting to worry me)
3 Andre Johnson (I'd trade him if I had him, but he is still elite when on the field)
4 Larry Fitzgerald (ARI should've waited til 2012 and scooped up Matt Flynn for a fraction of the cost of Kolb)
5 Mike Wallace (Well rounded and explosive, could see him as high as #3)
6 AJ Green (Exceeding high expectations IMO)
7 Greg Jennings (Hard to move him any higher with all the weapons in GB)
8 Roddy White (Hard to put him on the list, hard to take him off the list)
9 Miles Austin/Dez Bryant (Can't decide, like them both top 9-12, still buying Dez hype for better or for worse.)
10 Jeremy Maclin (Steady, fast and intelligent in an explosive offense)
Team 1: 10 Team, 4 Keeper League, Non-PPR
QB: Deshaun Watson
RB: Ezekiel Elliott, Leonard Fournette, Kareem Hunt
WR: Julio Jones, Dez Bryant
TE: Rob Gronkowski

I guess I will give mine as well to give this thread a little bump...

Calvin Johnson (He is the best and everyone else is in a lower tier IMO)

Andre Johnson (agree with above saying if I had him I would trade him due to age)
Hakeem Nicks (if only this guy could stay on the field!)
Mike Wallace (yes, I am becoming a believer, though I think Hines being out and Brown and Sanders in actually hurts Wallace)
Larry Fitzgerald (proved he can do it with poor QB play...hopefully an off season with Kolb will help their chemistry)
AJ Green (yeah, he is for real lol)
Greg Jennings (crazy how he still gets all those points with Finley, Jordy, Jones, Cobb in that offense)
Wes Welker (2-3 spots higher in PPR -- his age is a factor but since his game is all route running and not speed I think he last longer than others)
Dez Bryant/Miles Austin (I will cop out on this one too...both could be great)
Jeremy Maclin (He is the clear WR1 in Philly...imagine if he had not been so sick right before the season)

Notable exclusions -- Roddy White (Maybe I am crazy but he just doesnt look good this season)
Dwayne Bowe (So tempted to put him in my list but I dont know who I would take off)
