 I think one will stay healthy, at least through the draft.

Gazzerk wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 11:23 am I’m not delusional and I don’t think Swift should be valued as a top 5 back. However, it’s hard to argue this doesn’t absolutely revive his dynasty value and give him a real chance at being a highly productive back. It depends on staying healthy but that is the same for literally every RB. If he can get 15 touches per game I think he can produce RB1 numbers in that offense and if Penny goes down then we may get to see if he can handle a real workload. Also, his might be a hot take but I’m finding it hard to keep Walker in the top 5 discussion after that Charbonnet pick. Brutal.
I still have Walker top 5, and I agree it revives Swift's value. I think RB2 numbers are more realistic, with the lack of check downs he'll get compared to Detroit, and the lack of goal line upside, with Penny, and Hurts, I don't see him being a GL option very often. I agree 15 touches would be his sweet spot. I'd take RB 13-18 all day if he can stay on the field for a full year.
Yeah I’d be entirely happy with RB 13-18 type numbers with a full slate of games played. I also think that Philly will scheme some ways to get the ball in his hand if he shows what he is capable of doing. Defenses will have to account for several piece on that offense and that leaves a lot of wide open field for Swift to do his thing.

Exactly. That’s why I mention his financial future. It’s step up or disappear year for Swift.

FantasyFreak wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 10:32 am IDK how anyone could see him as a top 5 back. When healthy, Penny is clearly the early down back, and Swift's main asset is his pass catching. He's with a running QB, I just don't see why people would consider him anywhere close to the range of a top 5 dynasty back. People on here preach not massively changing rookie ranks due to landing spot.....

Certainly better for Swift than his previous situation was, as of a day ago, but don't get carried away.

Bijan, hall, CMC, Gibbs, JT, walker.

I don't have all of those guys ahead but I'm sure plenty do.
I wouldn't have him at top 5 yet. But I bet some will.
Top 5!? What the hell

He's currently RB22 on KTC. I'll be curious to see if that rises a little bit.

Lot of RB's I'd prefer to roster. I guess that's just me though.

Swift is from Philly. This has to be incredible for him. He's got every incentive to ball out.

Which means absolutely nothing since that was all done with the perspective of swift being in Detroit.

I guess it means about as much as thinking he's suddenly a top 5 RB.

If you can get a Top 5 valuation selling Swift right now... take the money and run.

Right. I agree a late 1st is probably light for him with how this weekend just went, but he's still never shown he can handle the workload. Top 5 RB would be what? 1.02 in SF? Possibly more? That's crazy

Didn't say he was a top 5. I asked if people thought he could get back in there. Infact I listed 7 rbs right after him that I thought people could easily put ahead of him.

1.02 in SF?!?? Don't see any way he's before 1.07.
Bijan, young, stroud, Richardson, Gibbs, jsn. Last two are close but rather have each of them.
On a contender give me swift over the next 3 first round wrs. Then probably swift. So that would be 1.07-1.10 depending on team build

He shouldn’t be ranked ahead of bijan, JT, hall, walker. If he balls out he could get to 5. But he’d have to start balling. And guys like cmc and Saquon would have to get injured or something. And Gibbs be in a full blown timeshare. There’s a lot of uninspiring names between swift at rb21 and rb5. I’m not saying I agree, but I can understand if someone valued him top 10 right now.

I can’t imagine anybody that has the rights to draft Gibbs is trading that away for Swift. At least, I’m certainly not.

Correct, I said if he balls. Not right now.
