I have been offered Javonte Williams in a league where I think I am in the middle, but close enough to make a push.

Get: Javonte
Give: Mooney, 23.1, 23.2

League is Superflex, TEP, with .25 points per carry.

Top players below. With Line up requirements.
QB(1-2): Allen, Burrow
RB (2-5): Ekeler, Penny, Walker, Singletary, McKissic
WR (3-6): Godwin, Mooney, Aiyuk, Renfrow, Jameson
TE (1-4) : Fant, Hock

I am considering this to give me a strong 3 headed horse at RB, but it would hurt my WRs and take away my two premium picks.

I would take Javonte side immediately. I’m not a big Mooney believer simply because Chicago just has a way of killing talent. I think having Javonte makes you stronger now as well and his value will only rise as his snap share increases.

With as deep as RB and QB are next year, I'm not doing that trade in SF unless it's for sure a bottom 3 pick in those rounds.

I completely disagree and think that’s a great deal for Javonta. If the 1st was a top 3 I’d pass but anything mid to late this is a snap accept for me.

I am hoping so. It leaves me super weak at WR if Godwin misses much time and Jameson misses more than half the season which is very likely.

id prob do it and then unload ekeler, godwin, and renfrow and be looking to compete next year. good price for javonte but i think you are too thin to make a strong run and your assets that can get you a haul now will be at risk of a value plummet. last thing id want is to make playoffs and have ekeler go down late season and then im screwed at rb, have no premium picks to work with, and then feel unispired about my team heading into 23 and watching other teams add top talents.

renfrow stock already tanked, godwin value is on a major upswing but the window is only gonna be a few months long to get top dollar for him, brady leaves and his value sees a big hit again, ekeler is coming off a 20td season and his value wont get higher thats why i say sell now, he will be 28 next year and if he doesnt have another massive season his returns in a trade will not be anywhere near what you can get now imo.

I'm torn on this deal. Yes it's a great price to pay for JWill, but it really hurts your wr depth. Can you win with Ekler, JWill, a rehabbing Godwin and Aiyuk? I'm looking the other way, build around your wr youth, two top qb's, a top end young te and I'd look to move Ekeler. I'd look to a team and try and get picks and a young player. If he starts out hot look for a 1st and a high end upside young player.

renfrow never had much value unfortunately so idk that he is gonna have a boom anytime soon. godwin idk how much higher his value can get i dont think he going back into top 5 territory, he will be viewed as a back end wr1 high end wr2 now or in a few weeks. i think the longer you wait the more the realization of the end of brady will be in trade partners heads though

In the off-season that's how owners think, but when the games are being played and points are being accumulated owners start to see $$$ and became more willing to give up assets to win now.... Imo.

It's always a gamble and takes the right scenarios.
