Just completed a trade. Thoughts?

Just curious as to everyone’s thoughts on this trade. Team is not in my sig. It’s basically a 12 team SF league but there’s actually 36 teams with 3 copies of each player.

I gave up Tua, Breece Hall, Michael Carter and Chris Olave.

I got Justin Jefferson

I now have Jefferson, Chase and Lamb as my 3 WRs. My QBs are Trevor Lawrence and Davis Mills. Nothing at RB but I still have my 2023 1st along with 5 2nds and 3 more 3rds. I really wasnt planning on competing this year as I’ve been stocking up draft picks but I couldn’t pass up getting those 3 as my WRs.

Sorry for the long post. Anyways, what do you all think? Too much? Just right? I got a steal?!?

Yup. Made same offer and was declined.

Seems a bit pricey on value but Jefferson is the best asset by far while Hall and Olave are unknowns despite their value. Time will tell but Jefferson is the elite piece despite overall price here.

Then you did what you had to do to get Jefferson. A year from now this could look like a huge overpay or an incredible steal. But as I always say, its fantasy football, get your guys.

I’m with everyone here, an overpay was necessary for him. I will say I like your overall strategy for putting together a championship team: build all the other pieces with picks and then add the RBs last. You should be competing for years to come after you finish this build.

At pre-week 1 this seems like an overlay, but I think Hall is in a timeshare with Carter and the Jets are not a team I would start both on weekly basis, and Olave would have to do what only a handful of prospects have done the last 10 years, so I think it’s a good trade!! Tua has not lived up to his expectations but this year might be the year he steps up in a big way. Only time will tell but not many teams can say they have Chase, Jefferson and Lamb on their team!!

It is basically trading away unknowns for a top 5 dynasty asset right now and your pairing him with two other top 5 wr dynasty assets. I like the deal, you just need to hit on some rb's in the draft. I'd be trying to package some of your 2nds to move up. If TLaw starts to show his potential and Mills is at least a top 20 qb then your in pretty good shape. Good luck.
