Probably best fitted in "Player Debates". Anyways, I am going to say Breece, but I love Dobbins. Breece just has 2 years on him, and in 5 years, that will matter.

Yeah unless Dobbins is really good and stays healthy, maybe. But Breece has the better shot on age alone being 26 vs 28FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 5:51 pm Probably best fitted in "Player Debates". The real question is, why do we care what a RB (or any non-QB for that matter) value is in 5 years? It's more about the production you get from them. In which case it's probably a toss up, but I'd probably lean Breece

Agreed. I’d lean Hall solely because of Dobbins coming off the ACL tear.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 6:23 pmYeah unless Dobbins is really good and stays healthy, maybe. Agree, this should be in Player Debates...
That said, it's Breece.
Dobbins is coming back from a serious knee injury, and probably has a down season in 2022. That puts him at 24 years old next season, with no RB1 seasons to his name. If you decide you want out on him, you need to wait a good while to get return on him.
Another factor is Lamar, he is going to take some of the goal line carries away from Dobbins which limits his ceiling. Dobbins on almost any other offense would be better for him at this point.
I like Dobbins as a talent, in fact he was my favorite RB in his class but it's Breece.

To your original question...I don't play dynasty with a 5 year lens. 2-3 years is more than enough. I think 5 years is far too future looking. If that is what you want though, this is even more in Breece's favor.

Dobbins has a great skill set but is also coming off a tough injury. I have high hopes for him, but Hall seems the much safer option at this point and has big value out of the gate.

Breece Hall, he is younger and healthier than Dobbins.
