Based on his receiving skills totally and team need for weapons in passing game could have a role as rookie. Not going to be a plug & play TE like Kittle was in rookie season because he won’t be on field all the time but you could do worse @ TE. Elusive vs backups remains to be seen vs the “ones” if he create in space. Eventually could be a serious thing @ TE
Kittle was definitely not a “plug and play” TE his rookie season. In our TE premium league he was TE26 in ffppw production in 2017, punctuated by a huge week 5 but otherwise pretty downright mediocre or worse until week 16.

There is a ton of talent in the BAL TE room until at least 2024 with Andrews, Likely and Kolar there. And BAL isn’t going to set the league on fire with its passing game - word from the HC is that they are renewing their focus on running the football. Some here better be prepared to downgrade their expectations a bit.

Meant as an NFL READY guy , not for fantasy purposes. Had the blocking part down and solid reliability most rookies don’t. Being on the field all 3 downs led to more opportunity to become “the guy” where Likely isn’t going to be in on many early down play action passes to spring him free.

Got it. I misread your intent there.

Easy, two tight end sets. Hell he could even be their slot receiver. It’s not like they have a receiver besides Bateman that they need to get on the field. He is going to have year one relevance barring injury. Very few tight ends show such good receiving prowess as a rookie in preseason.
I'd try and sell tonight, get a 2nd, in next years class, of a 2nd and give a 4th, even a 3rd. 23 class is a good one. Play off the hype. TE's are a dime a dozen, especially backups. Don't let the fact your rosters a guy give delusions of grandeur. That's the way I see it, anyway. The "likelihood" of him being a difference maker at TE in FF is almost none, so use it to gain capital to improve other positions.
Thanks for the idea. I just bought him for a 23 2nd in TE premium league.
Wasn't talking about TE premium. I have him in one, won't sell for a 2nd, would rather package up. You're welcome I guess. I'd sell for a 2nd in non TE premium in next years class. Good luck with it...maybe he'll work out.

So the Ravens kept 5 WR and 5 TE

Bateman, D. Robinson, Duvernay, Proche and Wallace
Andrews, Likely, Kolar, Boyle, Oliver

Going to be a lot of 2 TE sets

While true, Kolar will likely be shifted to some injury designation and they’ll bring in someone at another position to fill his spot.

Yeah and I'm sure Oliver only gets limited snaps. But they weren't much concern anyways

I think that's a great deal. You really gave up next to nothing for a flyer on someone who's at least flashed some intrigue today. That's the most we can hope for out of any 3rd round pick.

I own andrews, so it's mainly insurance.
