I agree there are many young TE's who are emerging, but that's more of a dynasty POV where i stated ROS for rankings. In a week in, week out basis he's likely in my later top 10 but we'll see.
Yeah, no worries. I don't disagree that you could do a lot worse than starting Likely right now - the Ravens are a top 10 scoring offense averaging 27.0 points a game; and when you're starting fringe TE's you're basically praying for a TD anyway. It's a good environment to target.

I just disagree that he's in any way a 1:1 replacement for Andrews, a la "Lamar targets the TE no matter who it is".

Far more likely he'll look for his WR's now in scramble situations - why wouldn't you, with Zay, OBJ, and Bateman - rather than looking for Mandrews, who Lamar has said is his #1 read when the play breaks down.

In my original post i did call out that he would not produce like andrews did, so i agree, it's not a 1:1 replacement. I think Andrews was the 1 read to Zay whereas likley is probably the 3rd read if not 4th, i'm not a huge fan of bateman and it doesn't appear the ravens are either.

He's looked much better than I expected. Glad I have him on the playoff team where I have Andrews. Hopefully he continues it through the next two weeks.

Agreed, I lost Andrews and was a little hesitant about Likely so I grabbed him and Tanner Hudson and played Tanner first to see what Likely would do, he performed well so I settled in on him for the duration.
