RB
Breece Hall - Well rounded talent with ability to do it all. Has another capable back in New York, so won’t immediately take over the backfield, but shouldn’t take long before he has the bulk.
Najee Harris - Limited long speed leading to poor overall rushing efficiency. Has massive volume in one of the best situations in the league, but can’t imagine that doesn’t get worse as Pittsburgh stabilizes the passing game.
Kenny Walker - Some questions in the passing game (both in skillset and in situation), but an elite rusher. Should take over the backfield in Seattle with neither of his competitors looking long term at this point.

Travis Etienne - He seems like a nice fit in a Pederson style offense. Might take a little bit to get fully going, but definitely high end potential.
Javonte Williams - I probably need to take another look at this guy. He seemed so lumbering on film from what I remember of his college tape, but from the little I watched in Denver, he looked more complete.

Elijah Mitchell - Production in a Shanahan offense. Seems like a great fit there, but the replacement risk is high.
James Cook - Profiles very similarly to Christian McCaffrey and his offensive coordinator was in Carolina when they brought in McCaffrey. I don’t think he’ll match that level, but if the coaches are even considering that as a possibility, I’m not sure he couldn’t do it.
Isaiah Spiller - Fell to the fourth, but while I’ll admit he plays a bit slow, I don’t think his 40 time is representative of his speed. Outside of that, he has all the tools to be an elite back.

Dameon Pierce - Also had Zamir White and Brian Robinson ahead of the rest of these guys. Pierce is a very good rusher, but I don’t think he’s ever going to do much in the passing game.
Michael Carter - Solid all around running back with a massive problem in blocking his path to starting in Breece Hall.
Rachaad White - He seems like a solid all around back (though his pass blocking was pretty terrible from what I saw), but he’s behind Fournette and I’m not just sure I see the three down skillset that some others do.

WR
Ja’Marr Chase - In his own class. Clearly the best available.

Drake London - Huge with more moves that you expect. Accelerates like a tugboat coming out of port, but I’m. still buying the size/agility combo.
Garrett Wilson - Probably ahead of London if not for Wilson and having no idea how the offense is going to look in New York.
Jameson Williams - Potentially the best receiver in the class, but it’ll be tough sledding with Goff as his QB.
Jaylen Waddle - Kid is electric… but the Dolphins? I just don’t have faith in them. It seems like they don’t really have faith in Tua and they’re just hoping enough speed will make their offense good.
Chris Olave - Very smooth and lands in an alright situation with little competition for targets.
Elijah Moore - Like him very similarly to Olave with the injury, and uncertainty about Zach Wilson putting him slightly below for now.
Devonta Smith - Skinny, but very talented. A bit worried if he’ll hold up and not loving his situation, but still loads of potential here.

Rashod Bateman - Pre-Covid, he was elite. Then that crazy covid year happened and he looked totally lost. I’m fairly comfortable that he’s not what he showed in that Covid year, but not sure I want to bet on his pre-Covid level either.

Treylon Burks - Struggles with man due to poor route running, doesn’t have great agility and now seems questionable on the motivation level.
George Pickens - Could be great, but not a lot of useful film on him. Situation looks pretty awful, especially for his skillset. Questionable maturity. I know Pittsburgh has done well with those issues in the past, but they were a winning teams with a star quarterback. They aren’t that anymore.
Skyy Moore - He’s being hyped like he’s the next Tyreek, but all signs point to MVS being the guy for that role. Neither of them are on Tyreek’s level though, so I’m not sure it even matters. Outside of Tyreek, which Andy Reid receiver do you look back on as being a great investment?

Nice work on this write up, I love it! I also agree with most of your takes on here.

Curious though, how do you reconcile the shade on Garrett Wilson’s QB & situation, while not knocking London for the same thing?

Also, not a huge deal but in terms of a Reid WR - I did love me some Jeremy Maclin back in the day. His numbers look much more pedestrian to us now, but if we remember how different the stats were for QBs and WRs even just 10 years ago, Maclin - when healthy - was a beast.

Great read and info. Something about Pickens has me avoiding him. I like the Spiller add to the list too.

Maclin’s huge year came under Chip Kelly and that’s kind of the point. He probably could’ve had more huge years under an offense that leans more on the lead receiver, but Reid generally spreads the ball around. Tyreek was an aberration and while another receiver could potentially fill that role, I don’t see Skyy Moore being that guy.

As for the QB situations, I guess I like Ridder more than most and we’re really only talking one slot in the same tier of receivers. My issue with New York is also the amount of competition for targets plus the questionable QB. London should see targets even if the QB is mediocre.

Weird timing given his recent move to the PUP list.
