George Pickens Vs Jahan Dotson

Who do you guys prefer? In drafts I'm seeing them go right next to each other. I honestly have no idea, since one analyst will have Pickens or Dotson like one spot ahead of each other

Dotson is safer.. but all of my dynos are 3 bench players deep with guys that Dotson's upside might hit.

Give me the chance at a difference making WR over the safety of my 4th depth piece WR. You can find WRs with his upside going well into the 3rd round of your rookie drafts.

I like Pickens alot more just for the potential. Dotson is a higher floor lower ceiling type guy in my opinion so why not opt for potential studs and trade for guys like Dotson as they usually end up cheaper down the road anyway.

I like both players and can go either way, but probably lean Dotson in PPR. I do not see how it can be Pickens by a lot. Dotson game seems to fit with today's NFL and he could be a high receptions guy. Plus Dotson has the draft capital and situation over Pickens. Dotson walks into the WR2 role, and with luck (if Washington moves on from {the overrated} McLaurin) Dotson could be Washington's top WR.
Pickens needs Pittsburgh to make a move at WR before he can gain a starting spot. Its possibly Pitt retains target hog Dionte Johnson, I do not see how that will be good for Pickens.

Only concern here is Pickens being a head case like most Steelers WRs.

I'm seriously considering taking him over Skyy Moore in my main league where I have 1.08 - assuming the usual 7 go first.

Pickens has top 3 upside in this class if he hits. His skills are excellent, and when the Steelers take a 2nd round WR, I'm always listening closely.

His floor is, of course, horrific. Bake that in if you're just trying to hit singles. For me, I'll always shoot for the home run.

Huh, I’m in the minority here. Dotson for me by a good bit. I trust pitt more than wash too, and like both a lot, so that evens it some but still took Dotson over Pickens once (sig).

Dotson easily. Pickens is talented but has too many question marks. Awful landing spot with a ton of WR talent on the PIT roster. He's also got a history of being a bit of a headcase, so I don't trust him. Won't be owning Pickens anywhere.

Dotson, on the other hand, best value in the draft. He's my 1.08 behind the top WRs and two RBs. He's legitimately talented. Landing spot stinks, but I don't think it's quite that bad, especially if McLaurin walks after this season. I also think Dotson the prospect is better than McLaurin the prospect (coming out of college).

I'm betting on the proven talent. Pickens is much more of a dart throw here.

I am in the Dotson camp for sure.

Pickens looked be going the wrong way since he was freshman. Injuries and maturity issues. He has talent but he is also a big gamble IMO.

I like Dotson as a legit route runner and changes speeds like a pros pro with no real red flags. he should play in the NFL a long time and while he may never be a top 5-10 fantasy player he does look like a legit steady starter as a wr2 on a fantasy team.

I'm on team Dotson here. Im not quite sure where all the low ceiling stuff is coming from about him. He is fast with good acceleration. He changes direction well and is a good route runner. He has very good hands. Basically the only knock is strength which is something that can improve with NFL training/diet. I'm not high on the landing spot, but ceiling is as high as anybody else in this draft.
