I’m all for this.

My only beef is the lack of transparency it was coming, a heads up at the end of last season or some kind of announcement would’ve been nice.

I pushed hard in my leagues for true position last year but got a bit of push back.

I’m just venting because I literally traded for Crosby last night, his value is now diluted and deals I had in place for LBs have subsequently fallen through.

Great for stability and growth of IDP just short term saltiness from me.

Yeah, it would be nice to get a heads up. I literally saw a tweet on it, checked and it was posted it would change the same day it did. It's fairly hidden in the "Help">"What's New" section of MFL> An email a week ahead would be very much appreciated.

Per usual, many of these may change again in the preseason.
But as significant as theses changes are, it makes me wonder if perhaps the Edge may be coming to MFL soon?

Reading the article on fantasy sharks, where MFL pulls their rankings from it appears like positions are pretty set and will stay that way moving forward.

Like I say I’m all for and adds stability moving forward I just would’ve liked a heads up.

Do you think this has much of an effect on LB/DL values in deep starting leagues or no? A lot of my league-mates seem to be panic buying LB's now.

Was thinking the same. A bunch of my LBs became DEs and I'm having problems buying LBs now.

Yea, I've been just trying to include some cheaper potential breakouts like Damone Clark and such as extras in trades... no one seems to want to sell the higher-tier guys just yet.

This was my concern too. Most of my leagues don't seem to have yet figured it out though so I'm slowly acquiring LBs.

Really dislike this for established leagues. My large leagues with start 3 LBs have taken a major shift. Some teams have nothing left at LB or what they do have is scraps. This was the reason I opposed those in existing leagues pushing for this change, they were too focused on ‘I want Hunter at DE!’ to assess the bigger impact.

For new leagues, it is a great change for stability and certainty. Less complainers about position changes.

DE is watered down. Viable guys previously are now impossible to move, and LB value has skyrocketed. Hard to acquire. Wish I had made a few moves I opted against earlier this offseason. That said, having warning would have been such a strategic advantage, I understand why it may not have been communicated intentionally.

In a good spot in some leagues, and bad spot in others. Odds shifts for team outlooks have definitely occurred as a result of this. Wish established leagues had more of a choice to accepting such a massive change, but rolling with MFL designations has ultimately been the approach, regardless of impacts, so ultimately I think proceeding was the route those leagues would have still needed to go regardless.

I miss Breeze. Much better than Davenport IMO.
