Just shipped most my draft picks, how did I do?

This is for a full point ppr superflex (very QB heavy scoring). Start QB RB RB WR WR TE 2 Flex SF and DEF

I gave up the 1.04, 1.05, 1.07, 2.05 and 2023 2nd for Najee and Barkley, I still have the 1.09 and 2.07 this year and 3 2023 1sts next year. So felt like i had the capital to move for 2 good RBs, since I'm going to miss out on Hall and Walker this year and I'm not high on this class.

Roster
QB - Brady, Watson, TLaw, Daniel Jones
RB - Najee, Swift, Barkley, Eli Mitchell
WR - AJ Brown, Diontae, Aiyuk, Shenault, Palmer
TE - Goedert, Albert O.

I know my WRs are a little weak and not deep and I could have loaded up with the picks but I still have 1.09 and 2.07 to use on WRs or as trade pieces to bring in some WR help. I really wanted to take advantage of Brady's last year or 2 to make a run because I can't get proper value for him in a trade, He was the overall number 2 scorer in the league last year, all first downs get 0.5 pts, including passing.

How did I do? Would you have made this deal?

TIA

I would not have

I don't see any reason to think Najee is good (in real life)

The value isn't bad but I just wouldn't buy a Trent Richardson look alike at peak value over some of this year's WR prospects

I think the value is close only because of Harris current market value but I would have had zero interest taking on Barkley. Not that picks and rookies don't have risk but they hold value longer. Barkley has little value if he stinks again and is not worth the risk in my opinion. I do like the Harris add though.

Looks good to me given this class. How many teams in the league?

On the flipside, I think it's amazing.

For me Najee >> 1.04/1.05 in this class
and
Saquon >> 1.07 + 2 2nds

Besides some wild rookie fever, what could possibly make this trade “awful”? Don’t like it? Prefer other side? Sure.

Calling a trade awful when the market value points to his side, without any reasoning, is a useless comment.

Obviously those 3 first rounders are going to hit and produce in 2022

Yeah don't get the awful comments, 2 top 10ish rbs.for.3 firsts, sign me up.

Seems fair. Najee should get high volume again in 2022. Long term I dont love Najee or Barkley though. I'd be looking to sell in season if you arent a strong contender and push those picks to 2023.

Trade is fine, dont like the roster construction. tons of upside but lacks a strong floor.

It's a 12 team league. I guess I'm not as out on Barkley as some ppl. He still has the talent and one of the best RB profiles over the last decade and has essentially missed a year and half do to 2 fluke injuries. I personally think he has 2 to 3 years of top 15 production with top 5 upside still, reminds me of when Dalvin Cook was hurt alot early in his career. Plus Giants improved their offensive line and Barkley could be moving on after this year, hopefully to a much better situation. Clearly there is a downside to him, especially if he gets hurt again, but I think he is worth the risk, over a bunch of rookie WRs that don't have elite upside imo and that landed in questionable spots.

More than likely I move off both RBs after 2 years no matter what, Barkley either rebounds and has a couple good years or he is a sell low for whatever I can get and Najee will have 2 years of 300 plus touches and be at the end of his rookie deal.

Also, and maybe not the best way to look at it but I also have a nice cushion of future picks. 3 1sts in 2023 and 3 1sts in 2024.

I like the deal. If Saquon didn't have a fluke ankle injury going back to the huddle against Dallas people's view on him would be a lot different. He was dominant against the Saints the week prior. Then you add on Najee Harris who is a top 6 dynasty RB and you won this deal. Ben was so bad the last two years that you would have to think QB play will be improved and that should help Najee.

I like the deal. I think your roster looks competitive and why not put the pedal down while Brady is still a thing. Heck, I'd be tempted to keep moving some capital and see if you can score some high end WRs to add to your existing group.

I would have passed...used the picks to fix your WR's...then next year use your picks for Qb's and Rb's....I think Pitt's o is going to struggle this year.....and the Giants are the Giants.....

But that is why we play.....

I think it's fair value.

I'd probably take a swing on all those NFL 1st round WRs instead. There is a good chance you get more in return value, but you do need to contend at some point. I agree with some of the above I think it would have a better idea to wait one more year, sell Brady for now, but it's not bad value as of today. It's more you buying declining assets rather than ascending assets. All those WRs are headed one direction and the RBs you bought are headed another. You need to be very sure you are contending when that happens.
