Post Draft Rookie Rankings

Postby spotxc » Fri Apr 29, 2022 10:11 pm

Hi, time to start this up for this year. So how do you rank these rookies for dynasty considering 1 pt ppr and 1 qb leagues. Id say picks 1-12, a normal first round. Lets see how these have moved

Foodie. Mild sauce goes in the trash. Well done steak goes with it.

Habaneros make the best hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".

Really struggling with where to fit in Pickett in SF. Could easily see him in the second tier. Couldn't have him with Hall though.

Not one of these lists are going to be the same. Incredible. Frustration. Insanity.

Also seeing Skyy Moore fly up drafts worries me, but I also see the possibilities.

Yeah, I wouldn't move Skyy into the top 6 or anything. BUT, a bunch of these guys have 2nd round draft capital and historically/statistically that's enough to warrant a high pick. I prefer higher draft capital, but if I remember correctly it needs to be top 5 NFL draft to really lock up a near sure thing. So even 1.08 for Drake isn't a lock. And with the top 6 so close, capital doesn't differentiate , imo. Even after the top 6 I wouldn't be too concerned over draft capital. If you like anyone in the second more than Johan or Burks or Olave or whatever, just trade back and get them in fantasy. 2nd round NFL capital is plenty to warrant a 1st round fantasy draft pick if you like a guy(just do it smartly of course. Don't pick Skyy with the 1.02)

I doubt anyone actually likes the talent level in the 2nd over Drake, Olave, Wilson, Jameson, Burks, Dotson, but I don't have a big problem with Skyy Moore shooting up boards if you already really liked him. There is no reason he shouldn't be ahead of any WR taken in the 2nd round of the NFL draft. I could see him going at say 1.08 and I wouldn't feel like it was a giant reach.

Again, I'd just draft off talent and not landing spots but if you already liked Skyy, being a top 8 pick isn't a huge reach, imo.

Also fwiw I dont think hes flying as much as it seems like, I think most people had him early to mid 2nd but its not so much that he moved up to that 8-10 range as much as well every single qb that was ranked ahead of him except pickett just dropped off the face of the planet so thats four spots right there.

So going off that if skyy was typically around 15th which I think is where I saw him mostly, up four spots from the qbs, one more from spiller and thats tenth right there, so hes really only getting 2-4 spots from the landing which from back end of the first to mid-late first really isnt that much of an overreaction IMO
