Re: In defense of AJ Brown's dynasty value...
I think the trade is a wash as far as determining his value moving from TEN to PHL but I don't understood his sky-high (my opinion) FF value. Is it that I'm missing he has just been stuck on a bad passing, run-heavy offense in TEN and is just waiting to be unleashed?
I could see ranking him in the top-10 dynasty FF but per DFL's WR rankings, I'd put at least Higgins, Waddle, probably Samuel, and maybe even Kupp ahead of him. He's missed 6 games the past 2 seasons and with the lingering injury issues makes a top-5 ranking tough for me to see.

It’s hard to ignore the talent he puts out on the field.Duard Weese wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 3:11 pm I think the trade is a wash as far as determining his value moving from TEN to PHL but I don't understood his sky-high (my opinion) FF value. Incredibly efficient player that has succeeded in a situation many other 1st/2nd round talents have not.
It’s easy to imagine what he could do on a more high volume offense… something he’s much more likely to see in PHI, long term

LOL. That's because it's how the rest of the English speaking world spells it. It's a colourful world, lots of it to see, but some will only see shades of grey. I don't want to get into the bad behaviour of arguing on a message board. So I'll just leave it at that.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 12:51 pm No word is misspelled more than FAVORITE. Re: In defense of AJ Brown's dynasty value...
I’ll own this L, 100%
I owned him last year (and paid a VERY pretty penny) and it was such a frustrating roller coaster. Once he got traded to the Eagles - a “run first offense” with 2 very skilled receiving weapons already, AND a QB who looked largely terrible last year - I sold him for McLaurin and a 23 First and honestly I felt like I robbed my leaguemate.
As the Grinch says to Cindy Lou-Who: “Wrong-O!”
I still don’t hate the trade I made, since the guy whose 1st I own is a bottom 3 team, but man I would have loved to be starting AJB this season…. Dude is a monster.
I simply hated the landing spot for all the reasons I posted above, and TBH I don’t think my process was wrong. But Hurts has made some incredible strides since last year, and AJB himself is just dominating that receiving room.

He was always one of my top WRs. Wish I had made more effort to buy when everyone was calling him the WR2 in Philly.

Kudos to you for owning this - I appreciate people who own when they got something wrong (it actually makes me respect them more... as long as they aren't wrong on nearly everything).lukkynumber13 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 11:02 pm I’ll own this L, 100%

I was super worried about him after the trade also, but couldn't find a good buyer for the price I was looking for (depressed as it was). Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make!

Re: In defense of AJ Brown's dynasty value...
My understanding is his inability to play is due to the knee injury he suffered in Week 18. Not sure what the deleting his social media is about, though that seems to be what young athletes do these days when they're unhappy. For whatever reason.
I'm not reading much into it.
