My understanding is his inability to play is due to the knee injury he suffered in Week 18. Not sure what the deleting his social media is about, though that seems to be what young athletes do these days when they're unhappy. For whatever reason.

I'm not reading much into it.

Given Hurts’ comments during their losing streak, Siriani reportedly on the hot seat, AJB not getting the ball down the stretch, I wouldn’t call it nothing or “who cares?”

He could be hurt and not playing because of it. He wouldn’t throw a social app tantrum for that.

My guess is he wanted to play, team overruled him (for medical reasons).

I liked the Rotoworld blurb for this:
A.J. Brown (knee) was not at Friday’s practice.

Brown also ominously nixed any mention of the Eagles on his Instagram and deleted his X (Twitter) account entirely. We won’t jump to any conclusions as this is actually run-of-the-mill behavior for an NFL wide receiver. The pressing issue for Brown remains his knee injury.
"Run of the mill behaviour for an NFL wide receiver"

Feel like Denny Carter probably wrote that one
