Jacobs Trade

Hey guys,
i'm in talks with the last year champion about a jacobs trade. you can see, that i own 5 2023 1sts, most of them from weaker teams. the 2023 2nd is from the team that ended on last place this season and could be early next year, too. i got the 1.3 this year and know, that i get hall or spiller.
so, the jacobs owner wants 1.11 and the early 2nd 23, but i dont really like it. maybe i could get one or two 3rds (3.12 and 23 3rd), do you think it's a good return? or would you completly refuse this trade and keep 1.11?

I would move the 1.11 straight up for Jacobs and be pretty pleased with the trade based on the class. He is a solid RB2 with upside but I would be holding my 2023 picks.

I’m fine moving the 1.11 and an early 23 2nd for Jacobs my hesitation here is your not likely competing this year with 5 23 firsts and I would not be looking to acquire a back if I’m not competing THIS season

It's unfortunate that is not an option. I would not want to move the 2nd in 2023 but you have to give to get and the value is still here.

Jacobs will still be a strong option next year too I believe. Include the 23 2nd and try to get the 23 3rd back if you do make the deal. Some teams constantly turn down potential deals because they're 'rebuilding' or 'planning for XYZ year', not that that's what you're doing. I'm sure we've all seen a team sneak into the playoffs and get hot at the right time to win the ship.

Unless you are high on guys like Kyren Williams or Tyler Allgeier, who will be there with the 1.11 and will probably sneak into the first round of mocks if either lands in a good spot, then you take Jacobs. Wouldn't hurt to tell him you'd prefer to wait until after the combine or draft and see what he says. I actually think there's a good chance one of those RBs land in a place like Miami, Buffalo, Houston, etc. and could sneak into a heavier workload than projected. Also, if the Raiders sign or draft a RB to eat into Jacobs workload, that would be a disaster. The more I'm thinking about it, im leaning away from taking Jacobs, and I'd definitely wait.

Agree with Gator, this years 1.11 and high second, but I keep my 2023's. I might even look to trade Jacobs for some 2023 draft capital, but it sounds like you have nobody left to trade with for 2023 draft stock.
