Rookie WR Production 2021
Re: Rookie WR Production 2021
Thanks for the update DD!!! This thread (just as last years) are great!
Seems like ARSB might be a sneaky pickup if someone drops him in a keeper league.
I think an interesting question is what makes lower ypp players end up being studs, was it depth chart or QB/coach factors.

That’s a good question. Off the top of my head my assumption would be they are mostly later round draft picks or injuries. They’re all listed on the first page so we could see what similarities or differences they have.

Elijah Moore will be going up.
Re: Rookie WR Production 2021
Another ho hum solid showing for waddle and smith
Re: Rookie WR Production 2021
Sure, as long as you are getting clearance aisle pricing. I just bought TM for Alex Collins.
He's still worth the dart throw based on his measurables and college production. I don't expect Cam to change anything, and it might take a Robby Anderson or DJ Moore injury for him to actually show out. My roster is big enough that I can stash him away for a couple of years to see how things pan out.

Yup, if I can get out on him for anywhere close to what the buy in price was I'm taking it and runningLesman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 1:14 pmSure, as long as you are getting clearance aisle pricing. I just bought TM for Alex Collins.

Nice to see Elijah Moore will be moving up this week. It sucks that the Lamar injury prevented us from seeing what Bateman could do as the potential WR1 for BAL this week.
Re: Rookie WR Production 2021
I know we are in the WR rookie production thread, and the numbers never lie, but I wasn't expecting anything from him this year anyways. I only ever drafted him late 2nd as well, but had him in the mid 2nd range with E. Moore. Glad I didn't have the choice or I might have picked the wrong guy lolLesman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 1:14 pmSure, as long as you are getting clearance aisle pricing. But yeah I'm still stashing him and hoping for a better QB and the possibility he becomes WR2 on the depth chart

Nice touch on the PFF grades here!
Amazing, as usual!

Re: Rookie WR Production 2021
Interesting how chalk this is coming out, that’s pretty much my preseason rankings on these guys, with the exception of Marshall who should be top of that last tier. Arguments could be made for QB play/coaching for him but I’d argue it’s just as rough or close for a handful of others.

Their depth charts are just a whole bunch of nothing. I could see them as late-season risers.

Wasn't super in love with Waddle but I ended up with him at 2.02 in a 10 team. I've been pretty happy with what I've seen so far.

Re: Rookie WR Production 2021
Waddle poised to break 100 receptions as a rookie. Only Boldin has done that. YPR not ideal but doesn’t appear too concerning.
