Kittle trade?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

In a full rebuild, I don't see the point in moving multiple 1st round picks. I would hold.

Kittle is a sell, not a buy IMO.

Foodie. Mild sauce goes in the trash. Well done steak goes with it.

Habaneros make the best hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".

I'm a 49ers fan and there is zero chance I'm giving up 2 1st rd picks for him. Hold them for your rebuild. I don't understand the point of giving away to 1st's to try and flip him for more.

Trading for Kittle is a great way to set your rebuild back a few years. Don’t move your 1sts in a rebuild. If you are blowing up your team, then your 1sts will be early. It would be incredibly poor team management to move multiple premium picks for an aging TE in a rebuild.

You aren’t going to flip Kittle for more than you would be giving up anyway. Easy easy pass on this deal.

Interesting.

My initial thought upon seeing OP was “hit that accept button!”

Read through all the comments… but yeah I’ll stick with my gut. Go get the young (for TEs) stud TE who is coming off a pair of bunny games.

The #1 rule of rebuilding is to keep your first round picks. So I wouldn't make this trade because of that alone.

The beauty of holding picks is they hold/increase in value (and this is going to be especially true for the 2023 class). The path to Kittle's value going up is pretty small, while I can imagine many downsides (injuries, Shanahan, QB situation, etc.). You don't want to be holding such a risky asset through a rebuild.
