ARod being used instead of ARodge irks me. There’s no room for another ODB or ARod
Every "nickname" that is someone's first initial and the first syllable of their last name is some low, low creativity.

As much as Tomlinson was maybe the biggest fantasy cheat code ever, I’m in the camp that the real LT played defense. I somewhat remember saying this to my buddy at the draft in Nashville, where we drunkenly bid up an LT signed football at one of the bars there haha

Or people could just use their names.
You beat me to it.....
But not everyone wants to spell Equanimeous everytime
You are not wrong. There are exceptions and nicknames that are so clear and well known there is clarity, but not everyone needs one.

I agree. It just seems like this thread is going down the whole "get off my lawn" direction lol

Based in the responses it doesn't seem to me like there are too many.

Or people could just use their names.
One of my pet peeves:

Would you trade Williams for Jones and a second?
Haha! Low key, that is the worst.

For sure. Many struggle to keep up with Jones, or so I hear.

I dont have a strong feeling about this either way, but as far as nicknames go, there is still plenty you guys have missed-

TyFreak, or Cheetah = Tyreek Hill
Red Rifle- Andy Dalton
Matty Ice- Matt Ryan
Scary Terry, or F1 - Terry McClaurin
AP, AD, or All Day - Adrian Peterson
Juice- Jarvis Landry
Flash- Josh Gordon
TB12 or Goat- Tom Brady
Baby Chark- DJ Chark
Danny Dimes- Daniel Jones
Smoke(y)- John Brown
Slayer- Kennan Allen
Baby Gronk- Pat Friermuth
Hollywood- Marquise Brown
Shady- Lesean McCoy
Run DMC- Darren McFadden
FitzMagic- Ryan Fitzpatrick
Big Ben- Ben Roethlisberger
The inconvenient truth- Frank Gore
BabyTron- Kenny Golladay
Legatron or Greg the Leg or young GZ- G. Zeurline
Superman- Cam Newton
AK41- Alvin Kamara
Big Dick Nick- Nick Foles
Terminator or Armadillo- James Conner
Convict- too many players to list

I’m sure there are plenty more I haven’t thought of, especially if we start going back through retired players.

Why do you have to bring up Darren McFadden? My PTSD just flared up again.

I remember some people were trying to make “TyGod” a thing for Tyrod Taylor. That one always confused me. WTF has Tyrod Taylor ever done to even remotely approach god tier status?

TyFreak annoys me too, since it takes one more letter to spell than his actual name and there aren’t any other Tyreeks in the NFL anyway.

My all-time favorite is probably Bitcoin for Darrell Henderson. Couldn’t be more appropriate, especially after the Akers injury.

I also really liked Binge for Kelvin Benjamin.

(Because he’s fat)

For some reason I have a huge mental block when someone writes DJM. It takes me like 5 minutes to remember who it is everytime.

DJM is a perfect example of "WHY?" You are only saving FOUR letters by not just typing DJ Moore.

Just posting again to say I actually love most of em.

Again, LT is a linebacker but whatever.

ODB is the worst though.
