Garbage time, but stats are stats. Really nice TD catch, haven't seen his other catches yet.

He's looked legitimately solid in this stretch. It's interesting that they wouldn't give him playing time before. Helps that him and Walker have a connection from playing scout team together, but he's made the most of finally getting a chance.

Pretty much every time is garbage time with this team. He can play given the opportunity.

I picked him up a waivers a month ago so a very light investment these days.

Long term bag holder here.

#1 WR recruit, put up #s as the third option with Burrow, then a Covid year, and finally a bad Carolina team and staff that didn’t play him.

The talent is there - was it all horrible situation or immaturity/work ethic/etc.?

Traded up into late 2nd to get him. Thought my league let him fall way too far lol

Anyways, I want to say bad work ethic/immaturity if he wasn't even seeing gameday

Soooo…

Say you’re in a complete rebuild with a plethora of 2023 draft capital and you want to take a shot on him. Would an early 3rd get it done? Too light? He’s still stupid young and has the draft capital and pedigree-former 5 star out of high school, yada yada.

A 3rd might. People probably spent a 2nd and have been bummed, probably happy to just bail. Hard to say that this will continue.

He was a 2nd rounder and I tried to to get him for a 2nd in various leagues 2 weeks ago, no dice. I don't have him anywhere but would easily pass on a 3rd for him. So yeah, early 3rd is too light.
League #1- 14 tm ppr, 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1K
1 DT, 2 DE, 2 LB, 1 CB, 1 S, 1 flex

League #2- 12 team PPR, 1Q, 1R, 2W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1 W/R/T, 1 Def

League #3- 12 tm PPR, 1Q, 0R (yes, ZERO RB) 3W, 1T, 2 R/W/T flex, 1 Def

At the same time for me as id take this opportunity as an owner to cut bait and take my loss to recoup a early 3rd on what to me still looks like a flop of a mid 2nd

Yeah. I mean prior to these last two weeks I’m not even sure most owners could’ve got a 4th for him? A 2nd is too rich for me. His value hasn’t risen that much in two games for me.

I floated an offer of a projected early 3rd for him. Guy is mulling it over. He’s got nearly no picks in the 23’ draft and this would be his earliest one.

Just in case anyone was curious I was just able to acquire him for a 23’ 3rd and 5th.

So basically a 3rd has a 50/50 shot of prying from a frustrated owner and no one wants to offer round 2 for him yet.

Pretty much. I had the 3.01 I could’ve offered as well(it’s my own pick, 1.01 is already locked up) and I would’ve offered that but that’s the highest I would’ve went. Fortunately his counter was just me adding a 5th.
