Haven't seen anything from him in quite awhile. Hope he's okay! Did I miss something?

Clever, haha
Just wondering. He used to be really active.

The Deep State got him, obviously.

Man... the number of dad jokes in this thread are going to be through the roof once he finds it.

I've talked to him. He needed a break. No timetable on a return.
I've been a forum mod/admin for about 20 years. It only takes 1-2 people to make things difficult and want to take a break or quit, or you can burn yourself out by being too active, or it feels like a job after a while instead of a fun hobby, etc.
Besides myself, I can recall just one other person who has stayed as a mod/admin actively the entire time. Everyone else slowly faded away for all those reasons I mentioned above. Heck, when I started posting here, about 5 DLF staff members would post regularly. 4 of them have since quit/left and the other one only logs on to make sure the site is running.
It's not easy at all to be a mod or admin on a forum of any kind. It's like a constant target on your back or an obligation. Arry devoted a large amount of his time here, so I'm sure he feels freedom right now being away from this place. Once you have a taste of that freedom, it's hard to come back.
BTW, this thread will be moved to its rightful location.

Sorry I put it in the wrong.
I was just genuinely curious, and partly concerned given the world we live in. Glad he's okay and definitely earned a break! Wish him the best for us!

Just ended up on "Off Topic" since there's not a lot of NFL news, the forums are a little quiet/stale right now without much to talk about so I dropped down here...
Hadn't thought about ArrylIT in a long time, but after seeing the thread I recall how he was posting in just about every thread. He posted so often, I figured he must be on the forum 15+ hours a day! Understandable if he needed a break. Also understandable if some of the posters may have got under his skin. Like Mike said, being a Mod is a pretty thankless job. ArrylIT did it well.
Hope he's having a good time whatever he's up to. And maybe he'll be back one day.

I actually spoke with him today, and quite recently. I'm in a league with him.
I believe he's very busy with work etc. and has just taken some time out from fantasy. Sure he'll be back soon enough

Good to hear. The forums need as many good people as possible! Thanks for the update.

Just a minor correction that I did not take any time out from fantasy sports - mostly from forms of social media like FB, forums, and the such. Still very active in my leagues (of which I have too many
). Although admittedly I think the pandemic made it hard to enjoy or focus on fantasy sports.
Anyways Happy Easter.

Very nice to see your still around. The music thread really settled down.
