Gurley vs Waller

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Gurley vs Waller

Postby hoos89 » Thu May 28, 2020 6:01 pm

Team 3 in sig...received an offer of Gurley for Waller straight up. Considering a counter but he doesn't have any picks to add...maybe I could try for Gurley + [something] for Sutton? With the something being like...a 2nd, Cooks or Hooper?

Tough call. Not sure what Gurley has left

I think Waller regresses with all the new target competition

Two fading assets in my opinion, but I would rather gamble on Waller.

I would definitely be trying to move Gurley, but not for Waller probably. I'd see if you could turn Gurley+ into a 2021 1st. If you're set on Sutton I'd try Gurley + Cooks and see if that can get you Sutton.

I've sold Gurley everywhere but I really think his ceiling is going to be insane in that offense if his knees are not shot. People are so down on Hooper but I think they are wrong. You'll be fine at TE, go with Gurley and shoot for a championship.

I'm not planning to compete this year so if anything that's a plus.

I'm not sure that's realistic unless I completely change strategies and do like 9 trades.

You do need to sell Gurley, but I'd prefer to get a little something on top of Waller here. If he doesn't have any picks, does he have any younger depth players that he would be willing to throw in?
