1.03 value

Postby saw061600 » Sun May 03, 2020 5:17 pm

Took over an orphan team (listed below) that's entering it's 2nd year. Feel pick 1 and 2 could go RB RB or maybe RB QB.

I have picks 3, 12, 15, and 17.
Another owner has picks 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 18

Would it be crazy to try to move picks 3 and 12 for picks 6, 7, 8? Figure I could grab at least a RB, WR, and QB/RB/WR with those 3 picks.

My roster:
QB: Murray, Stafford, Bridgewater, Winston
RB: Jacobs, Penny, Mattison, Hines, Armstead, J Samuels, R Freeman
WR: Golladay, Godwin, Boyd, Chark, Diggs, Kirk, Ridley, D Hamilton
TE: Fant, Jarwin, Dissley meh
K: who cares
DL: Fowler, Lawson, Barnett, Hurst
LB: Kwon, Shaq T, Beasley, Mosley, garbage
DB: Peppers, Fitzpatrick, Bates, D Randall

I don't think realistically you'd get all three, that's too much value. And if you only get two, it really depends on how you think the round goes in the top 5 picks and how you value Akers, because your glaring need is RB. If you go back to 6 and the top 5 is Burrow, CEH, Taylor, Swift & Dobbins, how are you going to feel about feeling you have to take Akers over Lamb/Tua?

Personally I'd stand at 1.03. Likelihood is you get a stud RB, if it does go RB/RB you can auction 1.03 to the highest bidder or just take Burrow and comfort yourself that you've got the 1.01 at the 1.03.
Superflex, PPR. Start 1-2QB, 2-4RB, 3-5WR & 1-2TE

QB: Watson, Herbert, Lance, Bridgewater, Minshew
RB: McCaffrey, Ekeler, Hines, Fournette, Hyde, J Williams,
WR: Diggs, Lamb, Hilton, Mims, Crowder, Reynolds, G Davis, Washington, Watkins
TE: Kittle, Hooper

This is only year 2 of the league (surprised the guy with this team left league already) and near everyone has holes in one more position. This team hurts at RB and LB...I'm good at IDP so will fix LB pretty easy but RB is always the hard get in a 12 team league.

I like Akers, maybe more than others, but I'm glad to say I pretty near exact have the same reasoning you listed. I threw out on league chat that I may be interested in moving back from pick 3. Figured I'd wait to see what happens and see what kind of bids I can get while on the clock.

the top 7 picks are all very highly valued and depending on personal feelings about Herbert, Lamb, Jeudy you could even say the top 10.
so
8 >> 12
6,7 >> 3

6+7 alone is probably fair if you aren't targeting a QB. Maybe you could squeeze #18 out of him too. #8 would be a steal
