1st Round of Draft Completed

So in one of my leagues, the first round of the draft happens before the combine, the 2nd and 3rd are in May, 4th 5th and 6th in August.
This has led to some pretty interesting dynamics, one of them being trade offers of the 1.10 for the 2.01 being rejected as the 2.01 is worth more...

Feel free to move this if it is in the wrong place, but it isn't a mock draft so thought this might be the best place

Thought people may be interested in how the first round went though.
1QB, 1SuperFlex, 3RB, 5WR, 2TE, 2Flex
1PPR (1.5PPR for TE)

1.01: Joe Burrow
1.02: Tua Tagovailoa
1.03: Jonathan Taylor
1.04: D'Andre Swift
1.05: J.K. Dobbins
1.06: Cam Akers
1.07: Ceedee Lamb
1.08: Jerry Jeudy
1.09: Henry Ruggs
1.10: Justin Herbert
1.11: Jordan Love
1.12: Jalen Reagor

That's a fun (and stressful) way to do a rookie draft. I'd be sweating the whole time.

I think the people who let Jeudy go so late will be kicking themselves in two years, but you never know.

Very interesting setup. Probably keeps people interested throughout the off season. Looks like the picks were all about where I'd expect them, with a few minor differences. Pre-draft, I bet the 1st round often follows the consensus ADP daily closely.

No one took Hakeem Butler 1.1? #toosoon?

I love that setup. I would love to try and convince my one league to do that.

This is indeed the right place.

In your opinion, how valuable do you find the 5th and 6th rounders? Would you rather have the 3.01 or the 4.01?

That's a lot of starters.

That was my first thought as well.

Definitely an interesting setting, thanks for sharing.

I've always liked the idea of more starters. It then gives the advantage to the team that can accumulate the best depth rather than a couple studs. Really changes the dynamic of a league. This looks like a fun league with more progressive ideas rather than the same old same old.

Me too! 14 starters in a 12 team, non-IDP league is the most I've seen. My current max is a 12 team superflex with 12 total starters (no DEF/K). Agree 100% with your take though- it makes the 4th round of your draft actually matter, because there's a chance you're grabbing at least bye week starters down there, guys like Dawson Knox, Kelvin Harmon, KeeSean Johnson, etc. In these startups I'm trading back as much as I can because just being able to field a team full of reliable starters is a huge boon.

I'm with you... Akers over JJ and Ceedee - that owner will be kicking himself this time next year.

Woah last year was all over the place. Whoever picked Harry as 1.01 over Murray or Jacobs is probably kicking themselves. Why not trade out of that pick!?
