Keep Mahomes or Michael Thomas

I am in a keeper league with standard non-ppr format. I have three keeper worthy players going into this year, Kamara, Mahomes, and Michael Thomas. We can only keep two players, Kamara is a given for me, but I am having decision anxiety between Mahomes and Michael Thomas. I usually draft QBs pretty late cuz you can still pick up decent QBs late, but Mahomes is an anomaly. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would keep Michael Thomas.
A base of Kamara and Thomas as RB1 and WR1 allows you to draft a QB early, but there is unlikely to be those top WRs out there to pick up.

The only thing that would give me pause about keeping Thomas is that he is on the same team as Kamara. But, if you'll notice my roster in my signature, I have both of them on my team. So, I'd still probably keep Thomas.

Mahomes and WR90 matched points with QB2 and Thomas last year in that scoring. To me, if you wanna evaluate who’s worth more, take each scenario, assume everything else is equal in the rest of the keeper/draft selections.

If you keep Thomas, and you want QB2, you’re gonna have to start/be early on the QB run and get lucky to boot.

If you keep Mahomes you can scoop up WR90 pretty late, possibly on the waiver wire.

But the kicker is, the Anomaly you speak of, is it Mahomes himself, and last year was a baseline? Or was that season an anomaly for him?

At a glance most projections I see out there have some regression for Mahomes and plugging those in make it a lot closer.

I’d say Thomas is safer. Mahomes is more risk/reward
