Henry will give you more of an advantage than DJM will, so long as he isn't done, and he looks to have a year or two left in him. Don't trust DJM with Fields to make a difference weekly vs a WR you could get a vet for, for a 2nd round pick off the right owner, like Cooper or someone.

I’m in the same boat with you on DJM. I don’t trust him with Fields and he’s likely a WR2 at best and unreliable week to week.

I made this exact trade last year where I acquired Henry. Didn't work out for a title run, but no regrets (yet, anyway)

Isn’t DJM technically entering the prime of his career by WR standards? Not a trade I would make, even if I was a contender. Trading a player entering his prime for a player exiting his prime doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. And I wrote the book on truthering for Derrick Henry.

The Bears have 9 1000+ yard receivers in 22 years and Fields at QB. I would never trade for a 29yr old RB but never say never. Equal shot you win here as both look bleak to me.

Beat me to it. Fields is a better fantasy QB than he is in real life. DJM should improve, but my expectations are tempered. If the King wins me a title, even if for one year, I am fine with the trade.

What would you realistically spend on Henry at this point? I know he’s an absolute beast but the wheels are coming off any moment now. Father Time is undefeated. The team hat has him is in desperate need to rebuild. There’s a change I could get him with my 2024 1st which should be late (likely pick 11-14 barring anything insane happening). My other option may be to go after Najee for that same first and maybe the 2.11 on top.
