This is done

So... Xulu obviously quit. If I was running his team I'd match. Anyone disagree?

I was wondering what would happen here. At minimum I don't think it's fair for the winning bidder to just get him without a discussion.
After a bit of thought, yeah I suppose you have to match as the owner. My hesitation was that he'd have basically no cap space with a gaping hole at WR after Evans, but it's probably the type of situation where you keep your studs and maybe try to trade someone (like Luck or Ertz himself) to get cap space/WR help. You probably can't just let a super-stud at a hard-to-find position walk for nothing.

I don't think thats fair the winning bidder. Its been over 24 hours since his winning bid, and he couldnt bid on other players that were available during that time. I say let martians get ertz and dont assess a cap penalty to the new owner who lost ertz.
I do think mike evans should be tagged as well.

Also, has anyone heard from ICU? Got to imagine he would have tagged Kelce and picked up Colemans option.

Put it up for league vote. If it was my team I would’ve tagged Evans and let Ertz walk. Howard is on the team for a fraction of the cost and there are no legitimate starting options for WR on the team.

I think league vote would be the best solution here.

You're a bit biased in this. And while Howard is a stud, the Bucs suck and so does Winston.ssmith313105 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2019 7:12 am Put it up for league vote. So if this were an actual NFL contract would we be saying it’s 3 year 105 with 63 guaranteed? This format is messing me up.
Re: Contract Renegotiation: Zach Ertz, TE, Phily
No... its 3 years, $35k per year. A bonus contract would be $7,000 guaranteed per year, or $21k total.SuperHawks wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:03 pm So if this were an actual NFL contract would we be saying it’s 3 year 105 with 63 guaranteed? This format is messing me up.
Adding up the guaranteed money is the easiest way to see who the winner is, since the winner is the owner who offers the player the most guaranteed money.
Re: Contract Renegotiation: Zach Ertz, TE, Phily
His team doesn't really have the cap space to match on Ertz and franchise tag Evans.... it's pretty much one or the other
