IDP Startup draft trade strategy

Hello, as a disclaimer, I wasn’t sure if this should have been posted in the drafting 101 thread, or it’s own separate, so if I made the wrong choice I apologize.

I have my first startup coming up in June, and I was looking for some advice on trading up for IDPs. The league has 48 roster spots, with 9 IDP starters a week, among other things. Given the amount of starters and roster size, should I be looking to trade a cluster of late round picks to acquire 1 earlier pick (ex: my 31-34th for his 25th) or should I do the opposite, and accumulate picks due to the deep ness of the league?

Any advice appreciated, thanks

Always trade back as long as it makes sense

I am a big proponent of the idea of moving back early and then moving up late assuming the value is there. If I can trade back a few times in the first 10 rounds allowing my to gain some extra picks along the way in will but then once the pickings get more slim I will move up to ensure I get as many of my guys as possible when it comes to long shots. If I can package mid 30s picks and get something in the 20s as you mentioned I am all for it, especially if I was already able to add ammo moving back
